    Project Operations Supervisor

    Job Description

    • We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Operations Supervisor with a background in the Marine Logistics/Oil and Gas Industry to join our team.
    • The Project Operations Supervisor will work as part of the Business Development and Operations department to oversee the lifecycle of agreed projects and ensure adherence to prescribed budget, achievement of maximum productivity, efficiency, compliance and profitability.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise the overall day to day performance, coordination, management and maintenance of agreed projects to assist in obtaining maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organization, upholding all aspects of compliance and standards and adhering to a prescribed budget.
    • Support Business Development & Operations functions/activities through proper & error-free documentation/records of project expenditure.
    • Assist/Support with contract negotiations & management, ensuring monitoring of contractual obligations with service providers.
    • Ensure operations are conducted within the stipulated timelines, including scheduling activities, resources & personnel.
    • Assist in creating project proposals and presentations for existing clients to improve their business, utilizing company services.
    • Ensure optimal utilization of assets through proper resource planning, effective coordination of assets (vessels, security boats) for projects.
    • Coordinate invoicing of services and track payments in a timely manner.
    • Build & manage relationships with clients/service providers/stakeholders through project performance management; attend project meetings; document/report; action plan; no complaints from 80% of clients.
    • Maintain accurate data/records/documentation as specified and carry out assigned tasks/projects in accordance with contract requirements and within prescribed time limits.
    • Engage in quarterly review of the project technical/commercial activities and make recommendations for improvement in line with leading practices to Line Manager.
    • Conduct and oversee regular site inspections, audit of services deployed in the field.
    • Participate fully in all HSE related activities – hazard reporting, HSE monthly meeting participation, safety drills, etc.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.

    Qualification and Skills

    • First Degree in any discipline.
    • A second degree is an advantage.
    • Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience, with at least five (5) years’ experience in Project Management, People Management, and Business Development, preferably in the Marine Logistics/ Oil and Gas Industry.
    • Must have a strong working knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry, Government and Regulatory Bodies
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical report writing skills.
    • Must have the ability to make decisions independently.

    Finance and Administration Supervisor

    Job Description

    • We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance and Admin Supervisor with a background in the Oil and Gas Industry to join our team.
    • The Finance and Admin Supervisor will contribute to the effective working of the Finance and Admin Department and be responsible for executing daily financial tasks.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist in the preparation of the yearly corporate budget.
    • Liaise with vendors on all office-related purchases and activities.
    • Assist in the preparation of the company’s corporate budget.
    • Prepare monthly financial/management reports and ensure timely generation of reports
    • Reconcile monthly revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately.
    • Review monthly invoices to ensure alignment with contract provisions.
    • Handle all company’s tax matters (VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYEE).
    • Liaise with vendors on all office-related purchases and activities.
    • Coordinate tax audits and regulatory matters.
    • Assist with developing and implementing finance and accounting policies, processes and procedures in line with leading practices.
    • Review all financial entries on the ERP.
    • Coordinate annual financial audits.
    • Review all payments to ensure alignment with contract terms.

    Qualification and Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
    • Part-qualified Accountant in any of the professional accountancy certifications.
    • 5 – 8 years relevant experience.
    • Strong MS Excel - essential.
    • Detailed understanding of auditing, accounting, administration and industry technical knowledge including proficient analysis of financial data.
    • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferred.
    • Ability to think strategically.
    • High sense of responsibility, accountability, integrity and ethical standards.
    • Strong business acumen, maturity and tact, including the ability to relate with the highest levels of management of financial institutions.
    • SAGE experience preferred.
    • Ability to communicate well as part of a team and work cooperatively with other teams.

    Field Supervisor Operations

    Job Description

    • We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Operations Supervisor with a background in the Oil and Gas Industry to join our team.
    • The Field Operations Supervisor will ensure that all daily activities and long-term strategic operations are run safely and effectively, whilst supervising field operations.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Monitor bunker logs and ensure compliance with vessel consumption.
    • Monitor and coordinate vessel STS operations logistics and the resources involved – lightering support crafts, STS equipment and Mooring masters.
    • Monitor and coordinate the duration of a complete STS operation and the different parts involved. Oversee field operations as peculiar to each project.
    • Communicate regularly and send timely on-the-field updates to the Line Manager and clients on the status of ongoing offshore operations.
    • Update Line Manager and clients via email and telephone channels on activities on the field with all involved marine assets.
    • Monitor TAT for all operations and ensure a log of the same is documented.
    • Ensure all marine assets and organizational equipment are fully operational to meet charter obligations, client requirements and operational requirements.
    • Ensure all marine equipment is certified for operational use by conducting certification exercises.
    • Monitor and manage the Field Officers, HSE Officers, and Mooring Masters.
    • Liaise and manage field workers on operational activities and developments.
    • Review the competency certificates of the key personnel working on board the marine spread to ensure compliance with marine standards as well as ensuring that the crew qualifications are meeting clients’ requirements.
    • Prepare bunker consumption reports/logs during field operations as required by each project.
    • Obtain regulatory permits from major stakeholders required for the operation of marine assets and activities on the field.
    • Develop documents – daily and monthly operations reports, JMPs, SLAs, and service conditions for field operations.
    • Advise clients on the feasibility of operational activities on the field based on sea weather conditions.
    • Monitor the service, maintenance and repair of vessels, parts and other equipment on the field.
    • Participate fully in all HSE related activities – hazard reporting, HSE monthly meeting participation, safety drills, etc.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

    Qualification and Skills

    • First Degree in the Social Sciences field.
    • A second degree is an advantage.
    • Must have a minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience in Operations Administration, with at least one (2) years experience in the Marine Logistics industry.
    • Must have a strong knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong report writing skills.
    • Must have the ability to make decisions independently.
