    Sales Manager

    Responsibilities

    Brand Strategy & Positioning:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy for the payment solution application in the Nigerian market.
    • Establish a unique brand positioning that resonates with the target audience and sets the payment solution apart from competitors.
    • Create brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing communications and touchpoints.

    Customer Acquisition and Lead Generation:

    • Design and execute marketing strategies to acquire new customers and generate leads for the payment solution application.
    • Set targets for customer acquisition and lead generation and monitor progress regularly.
    • Implement lead nurturing campaigns to convert prospects into active users of the payment solution.

    Product Marketing and Promotion:

    • Develop product marketing strategies to effectively promote the features, benefits, and value proposition of the payment solution application.
    • Create compelling marketing collateral, including product messaging, sales presentations, and demo materials.
    • Coordinate product launch activities and promotional campaigns to generate buzz and excitement around the payment solution.

    Digital Marketing and Online Presence:

    • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to enhance the online presence and visibility of the payment solution application.
    • Utilize various digital channels, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO), to reach and engage the target audience.
    • Optimize digital marketing campaigns for maximum effectiveness and ROI.

    Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to gain insights into the needs, preferences, and behavior of Nigerian consumers in the FinTech sector.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
    • Utilize data analytics and market intelligence tools to derive actionable insights for marketing planning and optimization.

    Campaign Management and Performance Tracking:

    • Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels to drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and track performance against set targets.
    • Monitor campaign metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing the FinTech industry in Nigeria.
    • Ensure all marketing activities and communications adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and maintain regulatory compliance.

    Partnership Alliances:

    • Identify potential partners such as banks, merchants, financial institutions, and technology providers that can enhance the reach and functionality of the payment solution application
    • Negotiate partnership agreements that align with the company's objectives and facilitate mutual business growth and success.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment of goals.
    • Collaborate with strategic partners on joint marketing initiatives, co-branded promotions, and product integrations to increase brand visibility, user acquisition, and revenue generation.
    • Monitor the performance of partnership initiatives, track key metrics such as user acquisition, revenue contribution, and customer satisfaction, and optimize strategies based on performance insights.

    Customer Engagement and Retention:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive customer engagement strategies to foster loyalty and retention among existing users of the payment solution application.
    • Create personalized communication campaigns and initiatives to keep users informed about new features, updates, promotions, and relevant industry news.
    • Implement mechanisms for collecting customer feedback, including surveys, feedback forms, and social media listening, and analyze feedback to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and promptly address any issues, concerns, or complaints raised by users to ensure a positive user experience.
    • Design and launch reward programs, loyalty schemes, and incentive campaigns to incentivize user engagement, referrals, and repeat usage of the payment solution application.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer engagement and retention, track performance against targets, and continuously optimize strategies based on performance insights to drive long-term user loyalty and satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related fieldMBA preferred.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in the FinTech or related industry, preferably within the Nigerian market.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and analytics platforms.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.
    • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical business practices.

    Years of Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing roles.
    • At least 8 years of experience in a leadership or management position.

    Relevant Skills:

    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, partners, and vendors.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.

    Area Sales Manager (Modern Trade)

    Description

    • Our client is looking to hire an experienced candidate who will manage her Modern Trade customer accounts.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure products are listed, available and well displayed at all modern trade stores in your territory
    • Ensure products are well displayed and visible at key areas in all relevant outlets
    • Track stock levels and ensure daily/weekly coverage of all stores in your territory
    • Create and implement long term growth strategies with the modern trade customers
    • Act as a main contact for existing and new customers
    • Develop route plans for proper daily coverage of all outlets by self, sales reps and merchandisers
    • Developing productive long-term relationships with customers
    • Create and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on the progress of modern trade accounts: sales, visibility, availability, competition activity etc
    • Reaching sales targets across all customers
    • Implementing a sales strategy across the assigned territory
    • Monitor competition activity
    • Closely cooperating with other departments involved with your accounts
    • Develop in-store visibility plans and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation
    • Initiate & develop annual marketing/promotion plans across all outlets in the territory.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Marketing or relevant course
    • 5 years’ experience in FMCG Sales
    • 3 years’ experience in Modern Trade Sales
    • Sales history in soap or body care is a plus
    • Track record of working relationships with top retailers in Lagos
    • Detail oriented with the ability to generate and analyse reports
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Self-management skills
    • Proven team management and people-management skills
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, Word
    • Sales and goal-oriented personality
    • Self-driven and accountable
    • Ability to take initiative and track progress of achievement
