    SEN Coordinator

    Job description

    • Support the identification of and disseminate the most effective teaching approaches for individual pupils with SEN.
    • Develop and oversee the implementation of the school’s Special Educational Needs strategy and policy
    • Undertake day-to-day co-ordination of SEN pupils' provisions through close liaison with staff, parents and external professionals such as speech and language therapists or educational psychologists
    • Emotional capacity to work with and improve the lives of children who have unique and challenging requirements
    • Support teachers to develop and implement effective teaching and behaviour management approaches in the classroom
    • Monitor and evaluate the progress of SEN children and make recommendations

    Job Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience as a SEN teacher teaching in an international school with the British Curriculum
    • TRCN Membership.
    • Relevant Certification.
    • High level of commitment to creativity and innovation.
    • Knowledge of current best practices in SEN
    • Functional IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft office tools and relevant software.
    • Excellent written and communication skills.
    • Commitment to good work ethics and discipline.
    • Effective planning and organising skills and the ability to pay attention to details
    • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
    • Suitability to work with children.

    SEN Teacher

    Job description

    • Assess students’ abilities and craft teaching plans
    • Adapt learning materials to students’ needs
    • Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
    • Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and make appropriate recommendations
    • Find engaging activities to teach skills
    • Collaborate with external professionals to create holistic intervention plans
    • Create a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures.
    • Take responsibility for the academic progress of each pupil.

    Spanish Teacher

    Job description

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.
    • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, cooperation, and a sense of belonging among students.
    • Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
    • Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles, abilities, and interests, ensuring that all students have opportunities to succeed.
    • Establish and maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on student progress, achievements, and areas for growth.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education/Spanish Language or related field required.
    • Valid teaching (TRCN) certification/license.
    • Previous teaching experience in a similar role preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Spanish teacher, teaching with the British Curriculum.
