    Business Development/Sales Manager

    Scope

    • As a Business Development/Sales Manager, we are looking for a strategic thinker, result driven and customer centric individual who will spearhead efforts to drive growth and expand market reach for the organization.
    • Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and developing strategies to achieve sales targets.
    • You will collaborate with various teams to enhance product offerings and market positioning, while also maintainin g a strong focus on client satisfaction and retention.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Below are some of the activities that will be carried out:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and analyzing market trends, potential clients, and industry developments.
    • Develop and implement strategies to attract and secure new clients, including lead generation, networking, and presentations.
    • Implement strategies and processes to ensure the successful conversion of all generated leads into actionable outcomes
    • Create and execute effective sales strategies and campaigns to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
    •  Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify competitive trends, customer preferences, and potential areas for growth.
    • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales efforts with organizational goals and enhance overall product offerings.
    • Track sales performance and prepare regular reports on key metrics, including revenue, client acquisition, and market trends, to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms and successful deal closures.
    • Keep the executive team advised of time-sensitive and priority issues ensuring appropriate follow-up.
    • Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
    • Possess a deep understanding of the tech industry, including software development, IT services, and digital transformation, coupled with familiarity in recruitment and talent management within the tech sector.
    • Demonstrate strong networking skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders while effectively engaging with potential clients and partners.
    • Possess a deep understanding of the tech industry, including software development, digital transformation, along with familiarity in tech recruitment and talent management.
    • Proven sales acumen with a track record in closing deals and securing new business opportunities through strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Skilled in developing and executing business strategies and adapting to market trends to meet client needs.
    • Exceptional networking and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Experienced in leading and motivating sales and business development teams, with a proven ability to set and achieve ambitious sales targets.
    • Solid understanding of software development and technical project management, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
    • 3-5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in market research and analysis.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools
    • Sound experience in business development, sales, or account management within tech companies, IT consulting firms, or tech recruitment agencies.
    • Success indicators in closing large deals, managing complex sales cycles, growing business in competitive markets, and having a strong tech industry network.
