    CompEx Inspector

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled CompEx Inspector to join our team. The CompEx Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and assessing electrical and instrumentation equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres, ensuring compliance with CompEx standards and regulations.

    Roles and Responsibility 

    • Conduct inspections of electrical and instrumentation equipment in hazardous areas according to CompEx standards.
    • Perform detailed visual inspections and functional tests to assess the integrity and safety of equipment.
    • Identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues during inspections and recommend corrective actions.
    • Produce detailed inspection reports outlining findings, observations, and recommendations.
    • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and certifications.
    • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment compliance and safety standards.
    • Stay updated with current CompEx regulations, standards, and best practices.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a CompEx Inspector or similar role in hazardous environments.
    • CompEx certification (e.g., Ex01-04 modules) is required.
    • In-depth knowledge of CompEx standards (ATEX, IECEx) and relevant regulations.
    • Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation principles and equipment.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
    • Additional safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) would be beneficial.
    • Experience with industrial maintenance and troubleshooting in hazardous areas.

    Working Conditions:

    Complete all documentation such as PEMAC service schedules, maintenance worksheets, check sheets logbooks, etc. accurately and by cGMP.
