    Construction Engineer

    Candidate Personality:

    • We are seeking a passionate, dynamic and organized Construction Engineer with a proven track record of executing projects in accordance with project specifications, best practices, contractual requirements, design coordination, cost estimation, quality control, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and client satisfaction as well as committed to ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of excellence, innovative, goal-driven, highly creative and able to work in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment.
    • If you possess these qualities, we invite you to join our dynamic team as a Construction Engineer.

    Key Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Develop piping and pipeline designs for fabrication and installation for various oil and gas facilities and platforms, and ensure they are safe and compliant with industry codes and regulations.
    • Create detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using relevant softwares and considering industry standards and regulations.
    • Perform stress analysis to ensure components can withstand environmental factors.
    • Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies for proposed piping designs.
    • Ensure compliance with industry-specific codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g. API standards, ASCE codes).
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, geotechnical engineers, and project managers, to integrate structural requirements into overall project plans.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports, calculations, and technical documentation detailing piping MTO, design rationale, and communicate findings, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, exploring innovative materials, construction methods, and technologies to enhance structural efficiency and performance.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions.
    • Stay current with industry trends and standards to ensure continuous improvement.

    Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering
    • Proficiency in engineering software for design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, Prota Structure).
    • Strong mathematical skills, knowledge of piping codes and regulations.
    • At least 5 years of work experience as a Construction Engineer in piping.
    • Proven experience as a Construction Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
    • Strong knowledge of industry standards and quality control procedures.
    • Certification in Project Management and Quality Control or Quality Assurance is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Accurate bio-data information and three referee information on CV.
