Construction Project Manager at DexNova Consulting Limited

Overview:

• The position will serve as a Project Manager in the Construction team. The individual should be well-organized, have good time management skills, and be able to act with limited guidance.

Minimum Job Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's Degree/HND from a UK/USA or Class A Nigerian University.
• At least seven years of experience in an established Construction Company.
• Verifiable Project Experience in Commercial Construction.
• Computer proficiency with the following specific requirements:
• Microsoft Word – Basic Skills
• Microsoft Excel – Advanced Skills
• Microsoft PowerPoint – Basic Skills
• Microsoft Project – Advanced Skills
• Minimum Typing Speed of 45 wpm.
• Strong Proofreading, Writing Skills & Report Development Experience
• High Level Oral & Written Presentation Skills.
• Verifiable Organizational Skills.
• A highly Professional & Confident Appearance is Required.
• Candidates should have a reliable automobile.
• Very Outgoing and Cheerful Networking Personality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage teams of professionals - Architects, Services Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors.
• Please communicate with General Contractors and ensure all consultant timelines and goals are articulated and achieved.
• I'd like you to manage the design development and project process to ensure the project's technical information is adequate for tender.
• Please let me know about the procurement options available and make recommendations as required.
• Manage the contractor tender and appointment process, ensuring all relevant contract terms and conditions are incorporated.
• Could you ensure all bonds and insurance required are obtained from all relevant parties?
• Please be sure to liaise with suppliers and manufacturers where required.
• Administer the construction and consultant agreements and ensure all responsibilities are carried out per the contract terms and conditions.
• Liaise with local authorities and related government agencies regarding zoning and town planning issues and building control.
• Obtain all regulatory approvals/certificates - pre-, during, and post-construction.
• Prepare weekly reports required for the successful execution of the projects.
• Schedule and chair all meetings required for the successful completion of the projects.
• Develop, track, and retain ownership of project development timelines, manage milestones delivery, and monitor progress against timelines.
• Implement Budget Management Program for projects.
