Overview and Objectives
The holder of this role will aim to achieve the business objectives of stakeholders with regards to the various units that provide strategic shared services to our various clients.
He/she plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the following business units:
He/she will assume a critical leadership role in driving the overall success and growth of the organization. This individual will oversee and be responsible for multiple key areas, including sales, revenue, marketing, innovation, finance, curriculum development, and program development. The objective is to effectively manage these functions to maximize profitability, market presence, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a predominantly business to business and also emerging business to consumer environment.
Areas of concentration
Sales:
The Group Head (GH) will develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive business growth and increase revenue. This includes identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and expanding the firm's client base. The objective is to achieve sales targets, improve sales processes, and ensure a consistent flow of projects and engagements.
Revenue:
In collaboration with the finance team, the Group Head will be responsible for managing and maximizing the firm's revenue streams. This includes developing pricing strategies, evaluating profitability of projects, monitoring billing and collections processes, and implementing measures to improve revenue generation and cash flow.
Marketing:
The Group Head will oversee the marketing efforts of the firm to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and market positioning. They will develop and execute marketing strategies, including digital marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and networking events. The objective is to increase the firm's market share, attract new clients, and retain existing clients through effective marketing and communication strategies.
Innovation:
The Group Head will foster a culture of innovation within the consulting firm. They will encourage and support the development of new ideas, methodologies, and solutions to meet evolving client needs. The objective is to drive continuous improvement, differentiation, and competitive advantage through innovative approaches and offerings.
Finance:
The Group Head will work closely with the finance team to ensure the financial health and stability of the consulting firm. This includes monitoring financial performance, developing budgets, analyzing financial data, and implementing financial controls and processes. The objective is to optimize financial resources, manage costs, and drive profitability.
Curriculum Development:
As part of the consulting firm's service offerings, the Group Head will oversee the development and enhancement of curriculum and training programs. They will collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver high-quality, relevant, and impactful learning experiences for clients. The objective is to ensure the firm's training programs are aligned with industry trends, client needs, and business objectives.
Program Development:
The Group Head will lead the development and management of consulting programs and services offered by the firm. This includes identifying market demand, assessing client requirements, and designing tailored programs to deliver value and achieve desired outcomes. The objective is to continuously improve program offerings, expand service capabilities, and meet client expectations.
