Health and Physical Education Teacher at Canadian Bridge Academy

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health and physical education curriculum aligned with state standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and celebrates individual strengths.
• Instruct students in a variety of physical activities, including team sports, individual fitness, and dance.
• Educate students on topics like nutrition, personal hygiene, human development, and substance abuse prevention.
• Integrate technology into lesson plans to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field.
• Minimum2 years of teaching experience (Teaching certification preferred).
• Strong knowledge of health and physical education curriculum standards.
• Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and physical activity.
