    Human Resources Officer

    Your role as an HR officer within our company is multifaceted and crucial, acting as a bridge between the company and its employees. Wear many hats, juggling tasks like talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, providing job descriptions, counselling on policies and procedures, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, all while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. 

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions, collaborating with hiring managers to identify the best talent for staffing need and run talent acquisition processes efficiently.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program that welcomes new hires and integrates them into the company culture.
    • Serve as primary point of contact for employees HR related  issues and queries providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
    • Handle employee complaints and grievances in a timely and effective manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Develop,implement ,monitor and review the performance appraisal, providing advice and guidance to employees and managers.
    • Ensure that HR policies and practices comply with current employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records according policy and legal requirements.
    • Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads and organize relevant training programs.
    • Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure they meet the organization’s needs and standards.
    • Review and update of compensation packages to remain competitive within the industry.
    •  Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with company goals.
    •  Perform other task as assigned by the management.

    QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENT

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • HR certification is an added advantage.
    • 3-4 years of experience in an HR role, experience in event/Hospitality industry us preferred.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite(Exel,Word Power point).
    •  Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

    COMPANY : EVENT COMPANY
    SALARY: 150,000 NGN

    Note : candidate must reside within or around ikeja.
