Job Summary:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for securing funds for our portfolio companies and managing our investments to ensure maximum returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure bonds and equity for our portfolio companies
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and risks
• Manage and monitor investment portfolios to ensure maximum returns
• Collaborate with our portfolio companies to understand their funding requirements and develop tailored solutions
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Sell financial products to investors and clients
• Serve as the key investment executive and provide expert investment advice

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in investment management, fundraising, or a related field
• Proven track record of securing funds and managing investments
• Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Charismatic leader with a strong network in the financial industry
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Professional certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent is highly preferred
• Registration or charter with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) is required
