    L1 - Vulnerability Management Analyst

    Job Description:

    • The L1 - Vulnerability Management Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments, which include scanning, identifying, and prioritizing vulnerabilities within the organization's systems.
    • The analyst will collaborate closely with IT and development teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to established security policies and standards.
    • This role also involves generating detailed reports on vulnerability findings, tracking remediation progress, and distributing these reports to relevant stakeholders.
    • The analyst will play a critical role in maintaining the organization's security posture by ensuring that all systems are regularly assessed and vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform regular vulnerability scans and assessments across the organization's infrastructure.
    • Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities based on potential impact and risk.
    • Collaborate with IT and development teams to develop and implement remediation plans.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
    • Generate detailed reports on vulnerability findings and remediation activities.
    • Monitor and track the progress of remediation efforts to ensure timely resolution.
    • Stay updated with the latest security vulnerabilities, threats, and best practices.

    Experience Required:

    • 1-3 years of experience in IT security or vulnerability management.
    • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and a basic understanding of network and system security principles.
    • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP (Associate), or CEH are desirable.
