    Manager - Enterprise Business Solutions

    Mission

    To Plan, design and support the delivery of solutions to respective Enterprise Business Solutions for end-users and ensure all IT systems function properly. In addition, coordinate and oversee activities related to the usability, security and continuity of all such solutions from engineering perspective. 

    Description

    • Organize regular engagement with vendor to review improvement areas for Enterprise Business solutions.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of all architectural designs, configurations and implementations done for every integration requirement.
    • Keep abreast of Enterprise Business solutions design patterns and industry trends.
    • Perform the automation of load and performance testing, security testing, application monitoring, and internal acceptance testing.
    • Ensure automation of monitoring and proactive identification and resolution of issues by embedding Machine Learning in error analysis. 
    • Ensure all solutions deployed and tested with its resilience to potential security threats. 
    • Ensure adoption of security by design.
    • Understand current Enterprise Business solution integration capabilities including the use of services-based frameworks and other data integration technologies and strive for continuous improvement.
    • Ensure that new business requirements have gone through the pipeline for analysis and design for subsequent implementation. 
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendor partners to provide support for outsourced applications.

    Education:

    • Minimum of First degree in the Sciences or Engineering from a recognized university.
    • Fluent in English.

    Experience:

    6 - 13 years’ experience which includes:

    • 5 years of managing development teams.
    • 5 years of managing high demand pipeline in Telecom environment.
    • Minimum of 5 years solution analysis, design and integration experience and exposure to formal requirements and design processes with very good understanding and knowledge of Charging Systems, Channel types – contact and contactless, Service Delivery and subscription platforms. 
    • Strong experience with architecting and deploying cloud ready and enabled solutions including use of server-less computing technologies for applications.
    • Strong experience with DevOps best practices including CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), automated testing, release automation, application performance monitoring, production operations and software quality assurance.
    • Experience working or leading efforts related to deployment of Charging Systems , VAS, Subscription platforms, USSD GW & SMSC platforms.
    • Experience with managing environments with significant outsourced vendor supported functions fused with in-house engineering.
    • Proven strong leadership skills to manage changes and critical issues in a highly dynamic environment.
