Production operator at Stresert Services Limited

Our client an Indigenous Oil and Gas Company is looking to fill the role of Production Operator

Location: Field Based, Nigeria

 Key Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the control room equipment, production processes and equipment and ensures that the plant is operating within normal parameters.
• Ensure that all subcontractors are monitored for safe working practices and follows the permit to work system.
• Carry out process isolations as described in the safe working practices and procedures and ensuring that all Company guidelines and regulatory requirements and procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Ensure that all platform consumables and stock items such as chemicals are maintained at optimum levels.
• Plan and prioritizes work in accordance with Lead Operator's instructions.
• Ensure that an accurate and comprehensive production log is maintained.

Requirements

• HND/BSc or equivalent in relevant Engineering discipline
•  Minimum of 5 years post NYSC relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Skilled in Oil/Gas production operating systems
• Production Platforms Experience is a MUST
• Good knowledge of relevant E&P operations, procedures, and practices
• Knowledge of HSE and process safety requirements
• Skilled in computer aided operations, maintenance, and communication systems
• Good oral and written Technical English capability (communication skills)
• Ability to read P&IDs and schematics will be an added advantage.
