Job Summary

• As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge web and mobile applications. In this role, you’ll craft rich, responsive user experiences, participate in product design, and develop new features using the latest in web technologies. You’ll focus on creating reusable code, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and contributing to our UI framework

Job Details

• Oversee project development from conception to deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements
• Lead development of large-scale projects and complex development
• Drive technical decision-making and best practices within the team
• Developing user-facing application user Vue.js(v2 & v3), ReactJs, AngularJs, EmberJs etc.
• Building modular and reusable components and libraries
• Optimizing your application for performance and maximum speed
• Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
• Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in the JavaScript and JS Frameworks space
• Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with Vue.js and all project dependencies
• Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices
• Design mobile and desktop-based features
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Work with product managers to get feedback from, and build solutions for users and customers
• Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
• Create quality mockups and prototypes
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Maintain and improve websites
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Requirements

• Professional experience with VueJS or another modern JavaScript web framework (React, Angular, Ember, etc.)
• Experience with writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape)
• Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment
• A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts (e.g. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
• A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
• Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely interactive software development process
• Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term
• Positive and solution-oriented mindset
• Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, and clear status updates

• Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
• Highly proficient with Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
• Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases
• Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
• Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
• Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, Vite, and Git
• Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
