    Senior Legal Associate

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the Company's matters
    • Provide legal support and general advisory needs associated with a large-scale real estate portfolio; ensuring the Company is protected from all legal action
    • Fortify the Company’s legal front and prevent a lacuna from coming up in client documentation
    • Draft, review, and ensure standardization of legal documents such as Title transfer deeds, Agreement of sale, Offer letters, Conveyance documents, License Agreements etc.
    • Oversee contract management processes, ensuring that all contracts are executed, monitored, and enforced effectively
    • Highlight legal issues involved in structuring of land / property acquisition and relevant development regulations
    • Manage and represent the company in purchases and sales of properties, and legal proceedings
    • Identify potential legal exposure and advise on possible mitigation; oversee legal research related to the litigation matters

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and Call to Bar (BL)
    • Minimum of 7 years of post-call experience in a reputable law firm or as an in-house counsel
    • Strong knowledge of corporate law, real estate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance
    • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills
    • Ability to deal with complex problems and ability in applying judgment and independent reasoning in situations where applicable precedence and laws may not exist
    • Experience in dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration & litigation)
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
