    Shawarma Chef

    Job Description

    We are currently seeking an experienced Shawarma Chef to join our team in here at 500Chow. As a Shawarma Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious Shawarma dishes to perfection. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all Shawarma orders are prepared and presented according to our high standards of quality and taste.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Prepare and cook Shawarma dishes using traditional recipes and techniques.
    2. Ensure that all Shawarma orders are prepared and presented in a timely manner.
    3. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
    4. Monitor and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
    5. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new Shawarma recipes and menu items.
    6. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
    7. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in Shawarma preparation and cooking techniques.
    8. Ensure that the Shawarma station is well-stocked and organized.
    9. Follow proper procedures for handling and storing food items.
    10. Assist in the planning and execution of special events or promotions.

    Preferred Candidate:

    1. Proven experience as a Shawarma Chef or similar role.
    2. Knowledge of traditional Shawarma recipes and cooking techniques.
    3. Ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    4. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
    5. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
    6. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
    7. Creativity and ability to develop new Shawarma recipes and menu items.
    8. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    10. Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

    Skills

    1. Experience in Shawarma preparation and cooking.
    2. Knowledge of traditional Shawarma recipes and techniques.
    3. Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
    4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
