Social Science Teacher at Canadian Bridge Academy

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver creative and engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Incorporate a variety of instructional methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage critical thinking and analysis.
• Assess student learning through projects, tests, quizzes, and other methods.
• Provide individualized support and interventions to meet the needs of all students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive social studies program.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education or a related field (must meet state certification requirements)
• Teaching certification in Social Studies (must meet state requirements)
• Previous teaching experience (2 years)
• Strong understanding of social studies content areas (history, geography, economics, government)
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for fostering a love of learning in students
