    Director, Sales & Marketing

    Objective

    The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance brand visibility for our cement product.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives and targets.
    • Adhere to industry trends, laws and regulations
    • Lead the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including market expansion and customer acquisition.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Analyze customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product development and differentiation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales and marketing activities with overall business goals.
    • Manage the sales and marketing budget effectively, monitoring expenses and ROI to optimize resource allocation.
    • Develop marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and advertising initiatives to enhance brand awareness and visibility.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA will be added advantage.
    • Minimum of 15 years' proven experience in the cement-associated industry
    • Professional certification/membership of the Institute of Marketing & Public Relations of Nigeria is mandatory.

    Skills / Competences:

    • Strong understanding of cement industry market, market dynamics, and customer needs.
    • Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, expand market share, and achieve revenue targets.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Willingness to travel at a very short notice.

    Director, Human Resources

    Job Description

    The Director of Human Resources at our Sokoto Plant will be responsible for developing and executing the company's HR strategies.

    Objective

    • The Human Resource Director plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing HR Strategies that aligns with the company's objectives.
    • Overseeing all aspects of Human Resource Management, including Talent Acquisition, Employees Relations, Performance Management System, Learning and Development and Compliance with labour laws and regulations.
    • The Human Resource Director will ensure the company attracts, develops a diverse and high performing workforce.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implement performance management systems to ensure clear performance expectations and provide feedback on employee development.
    • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, training, and employee relations.
    • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top talent, including developing recruitment strategies, conducting interviews, and negotiating job offers.
    • Develop policies and administer employee benefit program.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulation, and ensure maintenance of best practices.
    • Manage employee relations issues, conflict resolution, disciplinary action and grievance procedures.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • B.Sc in Human Resources, Humanities, or any related field.
    • Minimum of 15 years post qualification experience
    • Relevant professional qualification/certification like PHRI, SPHRI or GPHR will be an added advantage.
    • Membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria

    Skills / Competences:

    • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, laws and regulations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skill
    • Excellent verbal and communication skill.
    • Familiar with HRIS and ERP software.
