    Technical Training Manager

    Job Brief

    • We are looking for a Technical Training Manager to lead the full technical training cycle for our employees.
    • The Technical Training Manager responsibilities include identifying training needs, developing educational curricula and materials, and increasing trainees’ engagement with learning sessions.
    • If you’re an expert with technology and have experience coordinating training courses in a mining and steelenvironment, we’d like to meet you.
    • Ultimately, you will ensure all employees develop their technical skills and knowledge and are able to perform their daily tasks and solve clients’ problems.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct individual and team skills gap analyses
    • Develop technical training courses for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced)
    • Coordinate product-related trainings, including presentations of new features and simulation activities in a demo environment
    • Ensure all new hires undergo basic technical training (e.g. on computer setup and security guidelines)
    • Liaise with industry experts and organize workshops and classroom-style trainings.
    • Schedule in-house educational sessions using e-learning platforms.
    • Measure improvements in employees’ job performance at the end of each course

    Requirements and Skills

    • B.Sc. (an M.Sc. is an added advantage) in Engineering or Industrial Relations.

    • Knowledge of web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms using simple language

    Mechanic Workshop Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and lead a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective repair and maintenance operations.
    • Oversee the scheduling of repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure that all work is completed within set timelines.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 8-10 years of work experiencerepairing, servicing and maintaining Forlifts,Trucks, Hiabs, Diesel and Petrol engines
    • In-depth knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures for a variety of heavy earth-moving machines such as; excavators, bulldozers, drilling machines, graders, trucks, e.t.c
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve high-quality results.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
    • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to effectively interact with team members, fleet operators, and other departments.
    • Proficient computer skills, including experience with repair and maintenance software.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    • You must reside close to the job location or be ready to relocate.
