    Dispatch Rider

    Overview

    The Dispatch Rider at Mapiatea, will be issued a company owned dispatch motorcycle to deliver products to customers within Abuja, while ensuring his safety, the condition of the company motorcycle provided and the CUSTOMER’S PACKAGE.

    Responsibilities

    • The Rider must always ensure that all packages get to there destination in one piece and delivered to the right customer or delegate.
    • Must observe all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) driving related policies to ensure the consistent safety of his life, products and motorcycle.
    • Rider must remit all payment from customers in its entirety, except from tips.
    • Rider must ensure that assigned motorcycle documents/ particulars are updated and valid.
    • Must ensure that the motorcycle is cleaned routinely or when the need arises.
    • The rider is responsible for carrying out the daily inspection on the general condition of assigned motorcycle.
    • Must properly lock motorcycle when there is a need to leave them unattended to.
    • Sign for the packages upon collection and get an appropriate person to sign for it upon delivery.
    • Report daily on all issues relating to assigned motorcycle to the supervisor/ Manager.
    • Always keep an updated record of packages collected for delivery and packages delivered.
    • Always report all customer’s complaints to the appropriate channel at real-time.
    • And any other duties assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirement

    • SSCE, OND, HND, or BSc in transport and logistics, or any related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a dispatch rider.
    • Must possess valid license to ride a motorcycle or rider’s permit.
    • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and orally.
    • Be hardworking, Diligent and possess positive energy.
    • Must be physically fit, reliable, and punctual.
    • Must have excellent road navigation knowledge.
    • Ability to meet targets and deliver timely.
    • Good time management and Decision-Making Skills.
    • Good Knowledge of Abuja routes and there peculiarities is an added advantage.

    Operations Officer

    Overview

    The Operations Officer at Mapiatea, will receive customers order from the website and other cyber outlets, while validating all payment claims by ensuring that the details on the customer’s evidence of payment, i.e., the sender’s complete account name, amount, and bank name matches the company’s account records before processing any order for shipment. S/he will ensure the right products, sizes, colors are confirmed before processing the order.

    Responsibilities

    • The Operations officer must always be readily available to receive all customers order from the websites and order cyber outlets.
    • S/he must be financially inclined to confirm all customers payment claims before processing order to detect and shun scammers.
    • S/he must understand measurement scaling, to avoid processing the wrong sizes for customers.
    • The Operations Officer must ensure all daily orders are processed by close of business to avoid backlogs.
    • The Operations Officer must have an end-to-end overview of all customers orders to ensure all packages are distributed within the stipulated period.
    • S/he must be able to give sales projection on every product, to keep management informed on what product to stock more and the ones that needs new strategy. 
    • And any other duties assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirement

    • HND, or BSc in sales, accounting, economics marketing, or any related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in this role or related roles.
    • The candidate must be computer savvy.
    • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and orally.
    • Candidate must have good reporting skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
    • Good Interpersonal skills and Customer Service Orientation.
    • The candidate must always be punctual and responsive to orders to avoid backlogs.
    • Good knowledge of Ms word and Excel will be an added advantage.

    Front Desk Officer

    Overview

    The Front Desk Officer at Mapiatea, will be the physical face of the company at our stores. She will warmly welcome customers to the store, provide guidance to customer’s requests, educate customers on new and existing product, and giving the customers great experience during their visits to our stores. While bearing in mind that “first impression lasts long”.

    Responsibilities

    • The front desk officer must always be available at the reception to attend to every customer.
    • She will take customer’s order and provide the appropriate support.
    • She must be able to educate and convince customers about new and existing products.
    • She must always provide a welcoming a welcoming environment for every customer.
    • She must be able to facilitate error-free payment transactions for customers without oversight.
    • She must ensure that all products handed to customers are well packed and paid for.
    • She must collaborate with the office assistants to ensure a conducive vicinity for customers always, which must always be neat and presentable.
    • She will accept letters, packages, and new orders brought to the store, and redirect them to the appropriate departments.
    • She will request, order and track office supplies and equipment.
    • She will report office repairs, services and need for procurement to the concerned department in a timely manner.  
    • She must maintain a good record of products received and sold to avoid running out of stock or restocking a wrong product.
    • She must always report every product related complains and drop in sales of any product to management at real-time.
    • Candidate must be able to attend to every customer without getting agitated, violent, rude, or defensive.
    • And any other duties assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirement

    • OND, HND, or BSc in sales, marketing, or any related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in this role or related roles.
    • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and orally.
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
    • The candidate must be a friendly face and a breath of fresh air.
    • Good Interpersonal skills and Customer Service Orientation.
    • The candidate must be able to dress appropriately.
    • The candidate must always be punctual.
    • Good Knowledge of Ms word and Excel will be an added advantage.
