    Specialist - Fx Structuring

    Description

    • Provide inputs to the development of strategies to reduce the company’s risk exposure to changes in foreign currency. 
    • Keep abreast of forex regulations and requirements, applying the knowledge effectively in delivery of tasks with limited supervision.
    • Provide subject matter expertise and support on the import trade process with special attention to Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulatory requirements. 
    • Analyze challenges around Forex exposure and liquidity and build solutions leveraging experience and subject matter knowledge. 
    • Contribute towards strengthening compliance with and knowledge of CBN regulations and forex solutions across the Business.
    • Contribute towards enhancing MTN’s ability to manage risks effectively by demonstrating and applying understanding of the regulatory environment around currency controls in Nigeria and requirements of the CBN Foreign Exchange Manual within the organization. 
    • Support and implement processes for hedging forex risks of the Company. 
    • Explore opportunities for forex solutions with the Company’s bankers and other approved channels. 
    • Lead the implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective forex risk management and regulatory compliance
    • Source, negotiate, and enter in competitive  and structured Trade contract for the purchase of foreign currency. 
    • Maintain company records of all currency purchases and ensure communication of relevant information to internal parties.
    • Proactively monitor foreign currency exchange rates and other exposures relevant to the Company. 
    • Create mitigation structure for curtailing FX volatilities within the Bond Approved limits to protect balance sheet from currency volatility.
    • Ensure the relevant stakeholders are kept up to date on Forex regulations and requirements. 
    • Build and maintain effective relationship with the Company’s bankers to stay informed on solutions that add value to the MTN business. 
    • Find commercially acceptable structures with partners within a VUCA global FX market 
    • Understanding negotiation and its impact on the company’s commercial imperatives.

    Education:

    • First degree in Accounting, Economics or any Finance related discipline.
    • ACI dealership certificate 
    • Part Qualification/Membership of a professional financial management/accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, Level 2 CFA)
    • Fluent in English 

    Experience:

    • 3 – 7 years’ experience which includes:
    • Strong understanding of the Nigerian banking industry, currency control regulations, currency solutions (FX hedge instruments), and import trade finance, process, and requirements
    • Understanding of Nigerian FX markets and certified money market dealer 
    • Experience in good accounting practices and the Nigerian policy environment

    Advisor -Treasury Management

    Description

    • Work across departments and offices to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders at different levels of the organization to manage projects and provide diplomatic and timely communication in an agile work environment with iterative planning and delivery cycles, visibility, and successful delivery of complex projects.
    • Managing the end-to-end delivery of complex system solutions, leading a cross functional team through the product life cycle stages (from idea to deployment) delivering agile/waterfall projects.
    • Collate and analyze the cash, debt, covenants, counterparty limits, Fx exposure report of subsidiaries.
    • Report on the banking services of subsidiaries and establishment of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in line with changes in the banking environment.

    Description

    Manager - Mobile Advertising Solutions

    Mission

    • Responsible for the design, planning, and optimization of MTNN’s mobile advertising and Rich Media technology platforms, solutions, and business models to achieve a cost-effective and optimal mobile advertising service to customers, in line with the business strategic objectives.
    • Description
    • Direct and define procedure for efficient execution of prompt network capacity provisioning for all the VAS network elements, features, protocols etc.
    • Manage the planning processes geared towards designing and dimensioning of Digital Services and, Rich Media Services and Mobile Advertising Services in line with the business and technology roadmaps.
    • Define and maintain network measurement and optimization parameters for the Digital Services and, Rich Media Services and Mobile Advertising Services platforms. 
    • Manage VAS activities for efficient capacity provisioning to support the network growth in terms of traffic, subscribers and value-added services.

    Manager - ePayment

    Mission:

    • Provide guidance and hands-on support for the building, extension, stability and performance of all digital payment platforms exposed to MTN customers. This includes the usability, security and continuity of all such platforms from an engineering perspective.

    • Improve revenue from ePayment transactions by ensuring stability and availability of 99.8% or not more than one service interruption per quarter for all ePayment platforms

    Manager - Mobility Products

    Description

    • Provide stable and working Tariffs and easy subscription solutions to customers. 
    • Ensure Tariff Monetization engine implementation
    • Ensure e2e automation of integration for 3rd parties 
    • Provide integration parameters and plug ins for developers to connect and also to consume APIs from backend systems.

    Mission:

    • Contribute to the development, execution, and evaluation of diverse BTL campaign initiatives with a primary focus on customer retention and management throughout the customer lifecycle.
