    Assistant, FSL

    JOB SUMMARY:  

    • The purpose of this role is to support the Food Security and Livelihood team to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of food security projects in country mission. The implementation of early recovery program will facilitate the ground for transitions to development programs.

    MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure Food Security and Livelihood activities are implemented as directed by supervisor.
    • Provide key linkage between beneficiaries and the head office if applicable and as required.
    • Liaise and follow up with the community project management committees on project implementation based on agreed deliverables from beneficiary registration, facilitation of pre-distribution.
    • Train, organize distributions, and collect field data (baseline, post-distribution monitoring, and end-line).
    • Conduct beneficiary sensitization for voucher-based food assistance programs at village level.
    • Participate in distribution process which includes beneficiary verification and redemption of commodity vouchers.
    • Prepare weekly reports to update stakeholders on district level implementation progress.

    Job Requirements

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Typically, a University Degree in either agriculture or Social Sciences. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
    • At least 1 year experience implementing food security and livelihood strengthening programs with an International Organization.
    • Good organizational capacity - including documentation of beneficiary lists, baseline, and post-distribution monitoring database.
    • Good report writing and oral communication skills. Ability to speak and write in English will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent relational/interpersonal skills; conducting community sensitization and awareness sessions.
    • Basic knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel.

    Driver - Shani

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • The primary responsibility of the Driver is to ensure that International Medical Corps staff or goods movements are performed in safely and secured manner. 
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation:

    MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Adhere to the local laws when driving and country legal and or IMC (if more restrictive) speed limitations. 
    • Perform daily check on assigned vehicle to ensure that it is in good working conditions, prior departure 
    • Ensure that all assigned communication equipment is operational at all times 
    • Responsible for checking that the vehicles are equipped with all necessary items, including first aid kid, emergency food, spare parts, etc., as required. 
    • Apply all safety and security measures required by International Medical Corps 
    • Ensure that passengers are respecting safety and security measure during movements 
    • Ensure that goods transported are safely stored and accompanied by a waybill 
    • Maintain vehicle logbook with all trip records (signed by relevant passenger) and refueling 
    • Maintain vehicle clean and appropriately fueled at all time 
    • Coordinate movement with his/her manager 
    • Report to his management any issue/accident with the vehicle 
    • Perform basic maintenance when required
    • Report to manager when servicing, repairs or maintenance is required 
    • Report any issues relating to the security of IMC staff or vehicles immediately   
    • Should familiarize him/herself with the local area and planned journey route prior to departure, particularly regarding any security issues. If the driver is unfamiliar with the route, he/she is responsible to request a briefing from the security or logistics referent or another driver who has previously driven that route. 
    • Ensure the vehicle is always defensively parked (parked backwards, ready to go)

    Job Requirements

    Supervisor, GBV Casework

    JOB SUMMARY 

    • The Supervisor, GBV Casework will ensure quality provision of GBV case management and psychosocial support services to GBV survivors to conflict-affected and displaced women and girls and survivors of GBV. The Supervisor, GBV Casework will train, coach, and support GBV Caseworkers and strengthen systems of support for GBV survivors.

    MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Capacity Building and Service Oversight  

    • Train GBV Caseworkers, in line with the Inter-Agency GBV Case Management Guidelines and International Medical Corps’ GBV Standards. 
    • Train GBV Caseworkers to respond to child survivors, in line with Caring for Child Survivors of Sexual Abuse 
    • Coach GBV Caseworkers though regular group and individual sessions 
    • Conduct routine case review meetings 
    • Conduct regular supportive supervision sessions for quality assurance and to identify capacity gaps and needs 
    • Develop tailored capacity building plans for GBV Caseworkers, including plans for self-learning.  
    • Support GBV Caseworkers as required to respond effectively to cases, including direct service provision and coordination and advocacy with other service providers.  
    • Oversee distribution of material and cash assistance to survivors and vulnerable women and girls 
    • Support trainings of other service providers who may interact with vulnerable women and girls and GBV survivors. 
    • Contribute to the development and effectiveness of GBV referral systems/pathways 

    Human Resources Management 

    • Recruit and supervise GBV Caseworkers 
    • Create a safe and supportive environment for GBV Caseworkers  
    • Develop support strategies for GBV Caseworkers, foster teambuilding, and support principles of self-care 

    Monitoring and Reporting 

    • Seek and analyse feedback from clients and adapt services accordingly  
    • Oversee post-distribution monitoring  
    • Oversee service documentation  
    • Ensure strict data protection and information-sharing protocols to protect the privacy, confidentiality, and safety of survivors 
    • Contribute to internal and external reports 

    Coordination, Advocacy and Representation 

    • Coordinate regularly with GBV leadership team and participate, as required, in broader team meetings 
    • Mobilize stakeholders to strengthen coordination and safe access to services for survivors 
    • Promote a survivor-centred approach in all internal and external coordination meetings 
    • Organize case management meetings, as required, with other service providers 
    • Coordinate with MHPSS, child protection, health, and other sectors to strengthen integration and referrals 
    • Represent program goals and GBV standards  

    Security and Conduct 

    • Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies 
    • Foster a safe and supportive working environment for all GBV staff and partners 
    • Exemplify core principles of GBV programming, including respect, non-discrimination, responsible use of power, nonviolence, and promotion of gender equality  
    • Contribute to the positive image and overall credibility of the program and organization, notably through adherence to the Code of Conduct and Ethics, including compliance with anti-harassment, safeguarding and PSEA policies

    Job Requirements

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Typically, a degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
    • Typically, 3+ years of experience working as a GBV caseworker.
    • GBV Case Management experience required.
    • Relevant academic experience such as social work preferred.
    • Demonstrated commitment to core principles of GBV programming, including gender equality and survivor-centered support services.
    • Familiarity with GBV Case Management standards and tools
    • Training and facilitation experience
    • Commitment to championing survivors
    • Good interpersonal and advocacy skills
    • Very good listening and communication skills
    • Familiarity with government and NGO service providers preferred.
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment, remain flexible, and apply experience and guidance to evolving challenges.
