    Travel Specialist

    We seek a specialist who can interact with clients and help them make informed decisions on their travel plans. The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.

    Summary

    • Determining clients' needs and suggesting suitable travel packages
    • Organizing travels from beginning to end, including tickets, accommodation and transportation
    • Supplying travellers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday materials
    • Promote sales & profit goals

    Functions

    • Research, explore and study different travel destination options
    • Research destination and travel prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
    • Research and study clients’ specifications and wishes
    • Plan and sell transportations, accommodations, insurance and other travel services
    • Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
    • Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to travellers
    • Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees
    • Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
    • Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
    • Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends
    • Enter data into our software and maintain client files
    • Maintain relationships with key persons
    • Network with tour operators
    • Maintain statistical and financial records
    • Meet profit and sales targets

    Requirements

    • 2 years of experience as a Travel Agent or similar role
    • BA in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or similar relevant field
    • Knowledgeable about travel, tourism, offers & its trends
    • Good knowledge of travel software
    • Good sales and presentation skills
    • Critical thinker and problem solver
    • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Professional attitude and appearance.
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

    Targets

    • The following monthly targets mandatory and consistent with our operating policies.
    • Convert 20 leads to customers monthly. a
    • Provide 50 leads contacts. b
    • Design policies from customer feedback/research for optimised operations. c
    • Close sales of N25,000,000. d

    If superscript A, B, and (C or D) are distinction rated, a “Commitment Bonus” of N50,000.00 is awarded to Travel Specialist for the month.

    To make claims, an email is written to supervising officer & finance copied. The email must contain vividly proof that each target was met.

    Contract Terms

    • Dealings shall follow the Employment Agreement of the company.
    • Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) & Non-compete clauses apply.

    Salary & Benefits

    • Monthly Salary shall apply. Details are outlined in the employment agreement.

    Employment/Contract Agreement

    • Employment Agreement is attached and should be signed to commence contract.

    Non-Disclosure Agreement/Non-Compete Agreement

    • This contract requires signing of our Non-Disclosure/Non-Compete agreement attached.

    Work Schedule

    • Work schedule is from 8:30AM to 6:00PM. An hour break ideally from 12Noon to 1:00PM applies. Work days are Monday to Friday. However, it is customary that you have flexible hours on a 24-hour schedule to aid operations and clients travelling across different time zones – hence, accessibility at all times is required.
    • A hybrid work schedule is Physical presence at the office 3 to 4 days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday or as scheduled by your supervisor.
    • On some occasions, a 4-hour Saturday may be required.
    •  Remote Work Days require Sign-in at 8:00 AM and close-out at 6:00 PM.

    Time off Policy

    • Public holidays are not considered part of this contract agreement.

    Marketing Intern

    The ideal candidate will be passionate for the “art” of marketing and will have an abundance of ideas for building efficient strategies. He/she must bring forth a strong arsenal of techniques and methods to promote our products, services and public image.  You will assist with client data research, social media outreach, and various administrative tasks under the direction of your supervisor. The goal is to reach out to the market and cultivate the customer’s interest in our products and services in ways that strengthen our reputation and facilitate our continuous growth.

    • Generate new leads
    • Engage with leads
    • Convert leads to customers through sales 
    • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
    • Provide Administrative support to staff when required

    Requirements

    • Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
    • Computer and data entry abilities are required (MS Office, Google Publishing Tools)
    • Excellent verbal & communication skills
    • Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. WebTrends)
    • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
    • Teamwork skills
    • Customer-oriented mindset
    • Adaptable working hours
    • BSc/BA in Business Administration or similar field

    Targets & Key Performance Indicators

    • The following targets are mandatory and consistent with our sales & marketing policies.
    • Monthly sales of N20,000,000.00. a
    • Generate 100 leads on the CRM with at least one shared proposal each.b
    • Lead conversion score of 85% on a minimum of 50 leads.c
    • Supervisor Review Rating on Marketing Reachout (Score: 90%) . d  

    If superscripts A, B, and (C or D) are distinction rated, a “Commitment Bonus” of N100,000.00 is awarded for the month.

    Contract Terms

    • Dealings shall follow the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) of the company.
    • Non-compete clauses shall apply.
