    Accounts Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
      • Month and end-year process
      • Accounts payable/receivable
      • Cash receipts
      • General ledger
      • Payroll and utilities
      • Treasury, budgeting
      • Cash forecasting
      • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
      • Capital assets reconciliations
      • Trust account statement reconciliations,
      • Check runs
      • Fixed asset activity
      • Debt activity
    • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
    • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
    • Coordinate and complete annual audits
    • Provide recommendations
    • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
    • Meet financial accounting objectives
    • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

    Requirements and Skills

    • HND / B.Sc in Accounting, ACA or ACCA
    • Six+ years proven working experience as Accounting Manager,or Finance Manager
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
    • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to direct and supervise

    Operations Manager

    Objectives of this Role

    • Maintain constant communication with customers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company
    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
    • Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
    • Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
    • Oversee the workshop and stores to ensure seamless operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment
    • Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
    • Work closely with otherdepartments to ensure that all business objectives and goals are achieved
    • Oversee materials and inventory
    • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Six or more years of proven success in an operations management role
    • In-depth knoweledge of auto parts and driving skills
    • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
    • Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
    • Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related fields
    • Working knowledge of management software programs, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, and CenterPoint Payroll
    • Strong IT skills
    • Ability to communicate in more than one language including Igbo.
