    Responsibilities

    • Project Scope Management Delivery: Ensure clear definition, understanding, and alignment of project scope among stakeholders and successfully deliver project outcomes within agreed-upon scope, timeline, and budget constraints.

    Truck Boy

    Description

    • As a Truck Boy (Other Machines) specializing in Low Bed, water tanker and Hiab Truck operations, you will play a vital role in the efficient transportation and movement of heavy machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safe loading, securing, and unloading of machinery onto the low bed and Hiab trucks, contributing to the success of various construction and infrastructure projects.
    • Assist in the secure loading and offloading of heavy machinery onto the low bed and Hiab trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening using appropriate rigging techniques to prevent shifting during transportation. Assist the driver in loading and offloading water to/from the water tanker.
    • Collaborate in the careful offloading of machinery at project sites, positioning and aligning them correctly based on project requirements. Work with site personnel and drivers to ensure safe offloading from the trucks.
    • Report any observed anomaly on the trucks to the drivers for prompt maintenance or repairs where required.
    • Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines during loading, transportation, and offloading activities. Wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and always prioritize safety.
    • Maintain clear communication with truck drivers, machinery operators, and site personnel to ensure smooth and secure operations. Provide any required info to the drive or the HDD team in route planning, schedules, and loading/unloading sequences.
    • Help in various tasks as required, including site cleanup and organization, contributing to the overall efficiency of construction and infrastructure projects.

    Academic

    • High School Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification.

    Telecommunication Sales Executive

    Description 

    • The Direct sales executive (DSE) is responsible for driving sales increase of all ipNX retail products (FOS) within the territory he works in.
    • She/he must recruit new subscribers through personal engagement and follow up.
    • The DSE must be able to develop relationships with Estate managers, facility managers and any key stakeholder.
    • DSE’s must be able to win back churned customers and re-build broken relationships.

    Expected Key Results

    • Achieve set sales targets.
    • The DSE must recruit 10 subscribers or more every month.

    Data Centre Power System Technician

    Description

    • As a Data Centre Power System Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure related to the Data Center and POPs, ensuring the operation, monitoring, troubleshooting and basic maintenance of HVAC, UPS, Inverters, and other power systems.
    • Responsible for hands-on maintenance and monitoring of the mission-critical electrical infrastructure in the Data Center and POPs.
    • Monitor and report on electrical facilities system PMs and repairs.
    • Monitor and report on facilities system PMs and repairs. These also include cooling and other ancillaries in the Facilities.
    • Work directly with the IT teams and other departments to coordinate preventive maintenance activities as well as infrastructure upgrades
    • Maintain and repair the electrical systems including electrical panels, UPSs, batteries, light points, auxiliary electrical, HVACs, fire detection & suppression panels.
    • Ensure operational efficiency of colocation interaction with local contractors and vendors as well as internal customers.
    • Carry out regular audits and keep the Data Center and POPs as scheduled

    • Carry out any other task as directed by the Data Center Manager

    Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills

    • At least a Higher National Diploma (HND) in either Electrical and Electronics or other related disciplines.
    • Possession of relevant industry certification or training in Electrical Power systems installation, maintenance, and/or repairs.
    • Knowledge of equipment installation, electrical and mechanical repairs, welding and fabrication, and safety and compliance.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Adept at conducting tests to identify faults.

    Telecommunication Rigger

    Description 

    • To ensure efficient service delivery to customers and ensure customer satisfaction for all new old services and support related service on the wireless platform
    • Corporate Customers: Restore service failures within 4 hours of its occurrence- Implementation and integration of new projects.
    • Incident Management Communication: Provide prompt feedback for input into the OTRS Application with information relating to activities being carried
    • out to resolve customer service incidents.

    OSP Maintenance Supervisor - Fibre Optics

    Description 

    • The Maintenance Quality Control Supervisor oversees maintenance of ipNX fiber optic & civil work activities on the outside plant network.
    • The OSP Supervisor will be involved in the day-to-day maintenance and management of the outside plant, taking into consideration Customer and Local Authority organizations in the maintenance of the fiber outside plant.
    • The role is expected to involve a significant element of on-site attendance.

    Corporate Customers:

    • Restore service failures within 3 hours of its occurrence.
    • Implementation and integration of new projects and ensure all open incident tickets are closed within this time-frame.

    Retail Customers:

    • Restore service failures within 8 hours of its occurrence.

    Field to base Communication:

    • Provide prompt feedback for input into the OTRS application with information relating to activities being carried out to resolve customer service incidents.
    • Proactively drive MSPs to identify, plan, and execute preventive maintenance action on the fiber network.
    • Enforce active engagement of construction works (road and real estate) by MSPs to mitigate damage to ipNX fiber infrastructure.
    • Enforce active monitoring of trenching activities by other PTOs along our fiber route.
    • Audit and collate information for the fiber wire-line network. Prepare and submit the as-maintained documents after every network activity.
    • Provide network data for processing change request approvals.
    • Provide monthly cabinet utilization report.
    • Ensure weekly support status reports are done and submitted timely for review.
    • Submit as-is fiber break-fix report per ticket.
    • Submit monthly cabinet utilization report.
    • Submit out-of-scope BOM and supporting documents for PO approvals.
    • Assessment, Acceptance test, and Hand-over Documentation from project deployment team and MSPs which includes, Installation of Poles, Hand-Hole and duct calibration.

    Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills

    • Academic: University Degree in Telecoms, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.

    Functional Skills:

    • Proven track records of maintenance and management of metro and/or long-distance fiber optic infrastructure.
    • Sound knowledge of telecom industry best practices, norms, and technical requirements with regard to fiber & civil work maintenance.
    • FTTx and/or P2P fiber deployment and maintenance experience are distinct advantages i.e. fiber termination using fusion splice machines, testing & analyzing fiber links with OTDR and Light Source/Power Meters (LSPM), identifying fiber cores with VFLs.
    • Capable of understanding fiber network architectures, designs & splice plans.
    • An inherent culture of documenting concise and accurate “As-Is” status of network elements and splice configuration, in a consistent manner.

    GPON Deployment Supervisor - Fibre Projects

    Description 

    • The Project Supervisor will be directly responsible for and actively involved in project execution planning, monitoring and control, stakeholders' engagement and risk averting, in an effective manner that ensures projects are delivered to time, quality, and scope.
    • The role will typically involve everyday visits to project sites to ensure project objectives are not compromised and where necessary, guide the contractor to solve complex installation problems.
    • The project supervisor is also responsible for final integration & commissioning of service terminals (GPON or P2P) within acceptable loss levels and submitting test reports required for service fulfillment and maintenance operations.

    Effective planning of P2P and GPON Fiber Projects:

    • Provide daily project work plan and activity reports to team lead/data analyst, every day, throughout the duration of the project.
    • Provide prompt updates on issues/challenges that may impact project delivery dates.
    • Sign out and move materials to project site, in a timely manner.
    • Review quality of materials supplied to site by contractor (e.g., PVC, HDPE, GI pipes, iron rods, etc.) and ensure they meet ipNX standards. Reject sub-standard materials and escalate back to your Team Lead.
    • Enforce compliance with work methods and other deployment guidelines within Estates & MTUs.
    • Actively monitor civil works (trenching/ducting, hand-holes construction, pole planting, cabinet installation).
    • Actively supervise cable pulling/MST box installation, splicing and termination.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations in line with SHE standards, e.g., working at heights, working around power lines, working in greenfield environments, working around underground utilities, working at night, etc.

    Provide daily/regular activity reports to Estate/Facility Manager in a timely manner and manage issues proactively:

    • Maintain a healthy relationship with Estate/Facility Manager, residents/customers, and other key stakeholders.
    • Ensure a healthy relationship between project team & key stakeholders (e.g., EM/FM, residents, customers, property owners, area boys, etc.).
    • Validate, submit & track variations until approval.
    • Validate and track milestone payments until approval.
    • Ensure project snags are cleared before hand-over/audit.
    • Submit kick-off meeting reports, milestone reports, submit MST or P2P splice reportsheets, OTDR trace test and hand-over reports.
    • All reports must be submitted 24hrs after activity/task completion.

    Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills
    Academic:

    • University Degree in Telecoms, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.
    • Certifications in Fibre Optic Cabling, CFOT or FOA will be an added advantage.
    • Certifications in HSE Grade III will be an added advantage.

    Functional Skills:

    • Proficient use of fiber test tools e.g., OTDR, power meter & light source, VFL.
    • Proficient use of design software e.g., AutoCAD, Visio/GIS tools, etc.
    • Proficient use of basic data analytics software, e.g., Excel, Word, Google live sheets.
    • Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral).
    • Sound knowledge of telecom industry best practices with regard to fiber & civil installation.
    • An inherent culture of documentation – daily project activity reports, As-built drawings, splice reports, OTDR trace reports, project milestone/completion reports.
