    Technical Sales Associate

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct market research to identify potential sales leads for EEWA and Mkobo for Business products.
    • Qualify leads, gather information, and prioritize based on sales potential.
    • Develop compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
    • Assist with prospecting and outreach activities to generate new business opportunities.
    • Participate in sales calls and meetings (as needed) to present products and answer customer questions.
    • Provide administrative support to the Head of Sales and Business Development (as needed).
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
    • Prepare reports on sales activities and results for the Head of Sales and Business Development.
    • Stay up-to-date on Mkobo's products and services, industry trends, and competitor activities.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
    • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role.
    • Strong understanding of sales principles and methodologies.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (a plus).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Highly motivated, self-directed, and with a strong work ethic.

    Knowledge:

    • In-depth understanding of Mkobo's Early-Earned Wage Access (EEWA) and Mkobo for Business products.
    • Strong understanding of sales fundamentals, including lead generation, qualification, and sales methodologies.
    • Knowledge of financial services and Fintech industry trends (a plus).
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Full Stack Engineer

    Job Role

    • As a Full Stack Engineer you will be working alongside the product teams to build scalable APIs. It is the perfect opportunity for someone who is experienced and passionate about scalable systems, clean code and is looking for a great fulltime role.
    • While we currently build our systems in python, java, and any other compelling technology language, We believe the language is merely a tool in solving the problem, and we’re open to Engineers with experience of other stacks like NodeJS, Javascript with the flexibility to learn any language to solve any problem.
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable Backend/Frontend systems.
    • DevOps: improve automation of the software development process.
    • Identify performance issues and bugs, and provide solutions to these problems.
    • Work with other team members to ensure we are building the right product
    • Participate in code reviews
    • Pair-program with other developers or discuss possible technical architectures
    • Contribute to creating a culture of writing excellent software

    Qualifications
    What we are looking for:

    • University Degree in Informational Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject.
    • Advanced experience with Backend/Frontend frameworks such as java, python [preferably] or similar like NodeJS, javascript
    • Mid to senior level Fullstack engineer experience
    • At least 3 years commercial experience
    • Excellent knowledge of Scalable and distributed architectures.
    • Excellent knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
    • Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB/CouchDB/ElasticSearch/cassandra)
    • Understanding of Code versioning tools like Git
    • Understanding of Unit and Integration testing.
    • Understanding of DevOps processes like CI/CD
    • Understanding of infrastructure as code(Docker, kubernates, openshift is an added advantage)
    • Knowledge of CSS is an advantage
    • Application security, encryption, hashing.
    • Good understanding of APIs
    • Knowledge of in-memory database is an added advantage
    • Superb organisational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision

    Good to have skills:

    • Knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
    • Good understanding of APIs
    • Understanding of DevOps processes like CI/CD

    Qualification and Experience

    • BA / BS Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth objectives.
