    Security Guard

    Objective:

    The Security Guard will support the implementation of our partnership with UNICEF Nigeria by ensuring the safety and security of GOALPrime Organization's facilities, staff, and assets in Borno. This role focuses on maintaining a secure environment, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to security incidents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Security Operations:

    Access Control:

    • Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
    • Check identification and verify credentials of visitors and staff.

    Patrolling and Surveillance:

    • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security and detect any irregularities.
    • Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activities.

    Incident Response:

    • Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
    • Report all incidents and breaches of security to the Security and Logistics Coordinator and prepare detailed incident reports.

    Safety Measures:

    Safety Inspections:

    • Conduct regular safety inspections of the premises, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
    • Ensure all safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and first aid kits, are in good working condition.

    Emergency Procedures:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
    • Participate in emergency drills and ensure all staff are familiar with emergency procedures.

    Coordination and Reporting:

    Communication:

    • Maintain effective communication with the Security and Logistics Coordinator and other security personnel.
    • Use communication devices to report and receive updates on security matters.

    ⁠Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of security activities, including patrol logs and incident reports.
    • Ensure all security documentation is up-to-date and properly filed.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a security guard, preferably in the NGO sector.
    • Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
    • Ability to operate surveillance equipment and security systems.
    • Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Physical fitness and the ability to remain alert and responsive.
    • Experience working in conflict-affected areas is an advantage.

    Storekeeper

    Objective:

    The Storekeeper will support the implementation of our partnership with UNICEF Nigeria by ensuring the efficient and effective management of warehouse operations. This role focuses on the receipt, storage, and distribution of educational materials and infrastructure supplies needed for the project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Warehouse Management:

    Receive and Inspect Goods:

    • Receive all incoming materials and supplies and inspect them for quality and quantity.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of all received items.

    Storage and Inventory:

    • Store materials and supplies in an organized manner, ensuring they are easily accessible and secure.
    • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all items in the warehouse.

    Inventory Control:

    Stock Management:

    • Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
    • Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the Supply Chain Manager.

     Record Keeping:

    • Maintain detailed records of all warehouse transactions, including receipts, storage, and dispatches.
    • Ensure all inventory records are updated promptly and accurately.

    Distribution and Logistics:

    Order Fulfillment:

    • Prepare and dispatch orders to project sites as required.
    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all items to their intended destinations.

    Coordination:

    • Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager and project teams to understand distribution needs and schedules.
    • Liaise with transporters to arrange for the secure and efficient transportation of goods.

    Safety and Security:

    Warehouse Safety:

    • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
    • Implement and adhere to safety protocols to protect staff and inventory.

    Security:

    • Ensure the security of the warehouse and its contents, including access control and monitoring.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or storekeeping, preferably in the NGO sector.
    • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
    • Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    MEAL & Data Analysis Officer 

    Objective: 

    The MEAL & Data Analysis Officer will support the implementation of our partnership with UNICEF Nigeria by working closely with the MEAL & Data Analysis Coordinator. This role focuses on ensuring robust monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems are in place to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our educational initiatives in Borno. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Monitoring and Evaluation: 

    Support MEAL Systems: 

    • Assist in the development and implementation of MEAL frameworks and tools tailored to project needs. 
    • Ensure data collection methodologies are rigorous, accurate, and timely. 

    ⁠Data Collection and Analysis: 

    • Conduct field visits to monitor and evaluate the use of schools for educational and non-educational purposes in Borno. 
    • Collect, clean, and analyze data to assess the state of education infrastructure and quality of learning. 
    • Utilize both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. 

    ⁠Reporting: 

    • Prepare comprehensive reports on findings from monitoring visits. 
    • Compile and present data insights to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations. 
    • Ensure timely submission of reports to the MEAL & Data Analysis Coordinator. 

    Accountability and Learning: 

    Feedback Mechanisms: 

    • Assist in developing and implementing feedback mechanisms to gather inputs from beneficiaries and stakeholders. 
    • Ensure that feedback is integrated into project planning and implementation. 

    Learning and Adaptation: 

    • Facilitate learning sessions and workshops to share findings and best practices. 
    • Promote adaptive management based on MEAL findings to improve project outcomes. 

    Capacity Building: 

    ⁠Training and Support: 

    • Support the delivery of training programs for government stakeholders on MEAL, contingency planning, and anticipatory action. 
    • Provide ongoing technical support and mentorship to stakeholders to strengthen their capacities. 

    Resource Development: 

    • Assist in the development of training materials, guides, and manuals to support capacity-building activities. 
    • Ensure resources are accessible and tailored to the needs of different stakeholders. 

    Qualifications: 

    • ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Statistics, or a related field. 
    • ⁠Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEAL roles, preferably in the education sector. 
    • ⁠Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting. 
    • ⁠Strong understanding of educational infrastructure and quality of learning indicators. 
    • ⁠Excellent training and facilitation skills.

    Supply Chain Manager

    Objective: 

    The Supply Chain Manager will support the implementation of our partnership with UNICEF Nigeria by ensuring the efficient and effective management of supply chain operations. This role focuses on the procurement, transportation, storage, and distribution of educational materials and infrastructure support needed for the project. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Procurement and Sourcing: 

    Develop and Implement Procurement Plans: 

    • Develop procurement plans in line with project requirements and timelines. 
    •  Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. 

    Compliance and Documentation: 

    • Ensure all procurement processes comply with GOALPrime and donor policies. 
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation. 

    Logistics and Transportation: 

    Coordinate Transportation: 

    • Oversee the transportation of educational materials and infrastructure supplies to project sites in Borno. 
    • Ensure timely and secure delivery of all items. 

    Fleet Management: 

    • Manage project vehicles, ensuring they are well-maintained and used efficiently. 
    • Coordinate vehicle schedules to support project activities. 

    Inventory and Warehousing: 

    Warehouse Management: 

    • Oversee the storage and inventory management of educational materials and supplies. 
    • Ensure proper warehousing practices to maintain the quality and security of items. 

    Inventory Control: 

    • Conduct regular inventory audits and stock counts. 
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of stocks. 

    Coordination and Reporting: 

    Stakeholder Coordination: 

    • Work closely with project teams to understand supply chain needs and provide timely support. 
    • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations. 

    Reporting: 

    • Prepare regular reports on supply chain activities, challenges, and performance. 
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve supply chain efficiency. 
    • Report directly to the Country Director on all supply chain matters. 

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the NGO sector. 
    • Strong understanding of procurement processes, logistics, and inventory management. 
    • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
