    Truck Driver

    Start Date: Immediate
    Slot: 2 Openings

    Position Summary

    • We are looking for Truck Driver to join our Feet operations business. His responsibilities include assisting in loading and offloading of goods, carrying out regular cleaning and maintenance services for the Truck among other duties that will be assign from time to time.
    • To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations and major accidents.

    Duties

    • Maintaining the Truck safe and clean
    • Must drive carefully and decently on the road and obey all traffic signs
    • Ensure all Trucks attached to you are properly maintained regularly
    • Ability to drive long-distance with focus
    • Ensure all vehicle particulars such as insurance, license, etc; are in good condition.
    • Monitor and ensure the documents are renewed before expiry date
    • Ensure a fire extinguisher is present in the Truck
    • Familiar with the major routes (Northern region)

    Requirements

    • Traffic laws / DOT regulations / driving knowledge
    • Experience with bole-hole driller and mining equipment, preferred
    • Able to pass random drug tests
    • Clean driving record
    • No DUI / DWI convictions in the past seven years
    • Listening and verbal communication skills
    • Dependability
    • Experience 5 years’ experience as a Truck Driver
    • Education: Minimum of SSCE

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Keeping attached Truck clean always
    • Must submit details reports per trip
    • Will be held responsible if stopped by traffic wardens for failure to produce vehicle particulars or documents.
    • Only allowed to stop at approved destinations when travelling outside Abuja.
    • Must call management if there is cause to stop at unapproved destinations.
    • Must be able to drive daily/monthly without minor/major damages on the Truck.

    Construction Project Manager

    Start Date: Immediate

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee construction projects from beginning to end
    • Manage the budget and estimate costs
    • Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed
    • Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment
    • Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
    • Prepare reports regarding job status
    • Resolve any problems that may arise
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

    Evaluate risks:

    • Train and mentor construction workers and construction laborers depending on the size of the project
    • Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team
    • Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements
    • Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites
    • Plan construction operations
    • Ensure all deadlines are met
    • Hire contractors and staff including construction laborers

    Delegate responsibilities:

    • Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects
    • Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly
    • Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project
    • Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / BA Degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering or Construction Management.
    • PMP or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset
    • 5-7 years' work experience in construction management.
    • Extensive previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects
    • Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
    • Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills
    • Knowledge of MS Office Suite
    • Understanding of construction management processes
    • Familiar with construction and project management software programs
    • Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources
    • Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
    • Excellent time management ability
    • Able to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager duties
    • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills.

    Salary
    N90,000 - N100,000 monthly.

    Facilities Handyman

    Location: Guzape, Abuja

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a reliable Facilities Handyman, an all-rounder to carry out general maintenance works on construction site.
    • Deft hands and technical knowledge are very important.
    • You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly.

    Responsibilities

    • Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting etc.
    • Perform maintenance and light repairs
    • Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
    • Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
    • Undertake light installation or carpenting (e.g. build cabinets)
    • Repair equipment or appliances
    • Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
    • Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shoveling snow)
    • Identify and report the need for major repairs

    Requirements

    • 3 years’ experience as handyman
    • Experience with Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing
    • Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
    • Experience of carpentry electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
    • Basic math skills
    • Good communication ability
    • Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
    • Attention to detail
    • Driving is an added value.

    Salary
    N50,000 - N60,000 monthly.
