    Assistant Sales Manager

    Job Summary

    As an Assistant Sales Manager in the agro business sector, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, building and maintaining customer relationships, and supporting the overall growth of our company. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and the sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue. Your responsibilities will include:

    Responsibilities

    • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the agro business sector.
    • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales goals.
    • Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.
    • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient sales operations.
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of our agro products and services.
    • Be a subject matter expert to provide guidance and information to customers and the sales team.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors in the agro business sector.
    • Use market insights to identify potential opportunities and threats.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and updates for the Sales Manager and senior management.
    • Monitor sales metrics and provide insights into areas for improvement.
    • Assist in the training and development of the sales team, helping them enhance their agro business knowledge and sales skills

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in the agro business sector, preferably in a sales or customer-facing role.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • A self-motivated and results-driven mindset.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
    • Valid driver's license.
