    Business Development Associate (Microsoft Software)

    Job Description

    • We are seeking to hire a Business Development Associate. This individual must be comfortable selling open source, cloud, virtualization, and technical software solutions to all levels of the enterprise.
    • The role entails managing organizational sales, pitching to clients, prospecting accounts for new business, carrying out direct sales, creating leads, and closing deals.

    Responsibilities

    • Follow a sales strategy to boost the company's revenue and client base and close deals.
    • Pitch the company's products/platforms and handle objections while at it.
    • Provide resolution to the complaints and inquiries of new and existing clients.
    • Manage the portfolio of clients to foster consistent transactions and success.
    • Build healthy relationships with new and existing clients on the brand's behalf for future deals.
    • Serve as an amplifier of the brand's values and messages
    • Understand the individual needs of customers and recommend the necessary products/platforms.
    • Improve on personal knowledge of the brand's products/platforms.
    • Input individual client details on the customer relationship management application for tracking purposes.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Finance, Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
    • 2-5 years experience as an Account Manager, Field Sales, or Sales Consultant in the IT sector, especially Software As A Service (SAAS) Sector.
    • Plan, implement, and execute sales strategies.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools and CRM application
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including basic mathematics.
    • Positive and customer-eccentricattitude in a fast-paced environment
    • A professional appearance.

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Proven track record of selling complex IT enterprise solutions.
    • Capacity to comprehend the strategic issues of selling Enterprise applications solutions, including ERP.
    • Excellent relationships within the Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail or Distribution and/orPublic Sector industry in Nigeria.
