Consultant Family Physician at Sigma Consult

• As a Consultant Family Physician, you will be responsible for providing primary and specialized medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly.
• You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, as well as provide preventive care and health education to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments on patients to diagnose and treat various illnesses and injuries
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists as needed
• Provide ongoing care and follow-up to patients with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
• Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing, biopsies, and wound care
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and self-care techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, pharmacists, and therapists, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all regulatory standards and guidelines
• Stay current with advancements in medical technology, treatments, and research in the field of family medicine

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited university
• Board certification in Family Medicine
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Family Physician
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and other medical software
• Valid medical license to practice in Lagos State
