    Procurement Research and Proposal Specialist

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough research on procurement sites to identify relevant opportunities aligned with company capabilities and strategic goals.
    • Analyze procurement requirements, specifications, and evaluation criteria to prepare comprehensive summaries and recommendations.
    • Prepare detailed business plans and proposal documents tailored to meet RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) requirements.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
    • Present findings and proposals to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and persuasive manner.
    • Coordinate and manage the entire RFI/RFP response process, ensuring compliance with all submission requirements and deadlines.
    • Continuously monitor procurement trends, policies, and regulations to stay informed and provide strategic insights.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset).
    • Proven experience in conducting research for government procurement opportunities and preparing business plans and proposals.
    • Strong understanding of RFI/RFP processes and requirements, with a track record of successful submissions.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable recommendations.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with procurement databases and platforms.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
