Recruitment Manager - Truck Driver at H. Safieddine Transport Limited

Location: Alakija, Lagos

Job Description

• Recruit, train, and asses drivers and their qualifications as per driving law
• Conduct background checks for drivers as well as their guarantors
• Coordinate drivers to ascertain timely pickup and delivery
• Conduct periodical inspections of vehicles in use
• Develop supportive relations with drivers on a professional level and collaborate with other departments to solve their problems.
• To manage a fleet of trailers and other heavy duty equipment while ensuring zero downtime always
• Keep track of driver hours and miles in coordination with load planners to achieve maximum productivity in given hours.
• Manage drivers/operators and ensure compliance to safety and company policies
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance

Requirements / Key Skills

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc qualification with 7 - 9 years work experience.
• Managerial and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in traffic laws
• Member of Nigerian Institute of Logistics.
