    Sales Development Representative

    Job Description

    • The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline.

    Responsibilities

    As a Sales Development Representative at Sudo Africa, your primary duties include:

    • Identifying potential customers and generating new business opportunities for the company.
    • Contacting and streamlining potential customers.
    • Setting appointments and following up on leads.
    • Tracking progress toward meeting sales goals
    • Collaborating with the business team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
    • Using customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities.
    • Staying up to date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
    • Attending networking events and tradeshows to build relationships and generate leads.
    • Providing regular reports on sales activities and results to the manager.
    • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers
    • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
    • Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 1 - 3 years of experience as a sales officer or similar role in a technology company.
    • Experience with fintech is an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
    • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
    • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
    • Time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
    • A desire to learn and grow in the sales field.
