    Talent Manager

    Job Summary:

    The Talent Manager plays a critical role in the management and development of talent within the organization. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and retaining high-performing employees, ensuring that the organization has the talent needed to achieve its strategic goals. The Talent Manager will work closely with the Head HAM and department heads to create and implement effective talent management strategies.

    Job Description:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on candidate selection.
    • Design and implement talent development programs, including onboarding, training, mentoring, and career development initiatives.
    • Identify high-potential employees and create development plans to prepare them for leadership roles.
    • Facilitate leadership development programs and succession planning efforts.
    • Oversee the performance management process, including KPI setting, performance reviews, and feedback.
    • Work with managers to identify and address performance issues and provide coaching and support.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
    • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent management and apply them to the organization.
    • Work closely with Head HAM, department heads, and leadership teams to align talent management strategies with organizational goals.
    • Communicate talent management plans, initiatives, and progress to stakeholders.
    • Utilize talent assessment tools and techniques to identify strengths, development needs, and potential.
    • Collect and analyze talent data to inform decision-making and improve talent management practices.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on talent management metrics and outcomes.

    Requirements

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (Masters preferred).
    • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, PHR etc).

    Experience:

    • Minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience in a similar role.
    • Experience in talent acquisition, talent development, and performance management.
    • Familiarity with talent assessment tools and techniques.

    Skills:

    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to design and implement effective talent management programs.
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and talent management software.
    • Project management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
