Technician (Power Generating Plant Operations & Maintenance) at Charterhouse Lagos

Role Overview:

• The focus of this role will be to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our High Voltage Generators.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for promptly addressing repairs and maintenance tasks for our generators, with a strong emphasis on quick response times.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor generators to ensure a continuous and reliable power supply.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on generators to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues that arise during operation.
• Monitor generator performance and record important data such as fuel consumption, operating hours, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualification, skills and knowledge:

• Minimum of Trade Test 1, 2, & 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional certificate in Operation and Maintenance of High Voltage Generators.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in operation of high-voltage generators.
• Knowledge of local and international regulations and standards for Generators.
• Health and safety awareness regarding Generator operation and maintenance.
