    Business Strategy and Operations Associate

    • In this role, you will work on strategic projects and internal cross-functional initiatives that drive long-term business sustainability. We are looking for associates who have the ability to conduct strategic analyses, business recommendations, and support annual strategic and financial planning, and overall decision support.

    The position:

    • Support end-to-end work-streams within major strategic and business initiatives
    • Run financial projections and manage budgets on key revenue-focused projects
    • Support the process for company-wide business planning efforts, including the development of the long-term company strategy, annual priorities, and quarterly OKRs
    • Track internal business metrics and enhance monitoring & reporting capabilities
    • Work closely to support development of pricing and revenue strategies for customers
    • Plan and organize major leadership meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor landscapes, and perform comprehensive assessments of new market opportunities
    • Develop analyses, frameworks, processes, and tools to enhance internal strategic discussions
    • Assist with reports, documents and different forms of media output.
    • Support proposal development efforts by providing report summaries, drafting inputs, and creating graphics, tables, and charts;
    • Be based in Lagos
    • Work on other duties, as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Master’s degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience with some combination of:
      • Consulting, finance, and/or corporate strategy, and
      • Strategy, business operations, and/or business development work
      • Comfortable moving between both higher-level strategic work & day-to-day operational work
      • Ability to play a project associate role as well – setting up meetings, taking notes, using digital tools to ensure team efficiency
    • Experience building simple financial and/or pricing models
    • Experience in consulting, finance, business development, product and project management, etc.
    • and analytical abilities and quantitative skills;
    • Strong problem-solving, communications, and collaboration skills
    • Analytical and/or financial acumen, allowing you to weigh complex business tradeoffs
    • Results-oriented, efficient, and thoughtful in your project management style

    • Strong written and oral communication skills in English;

    Financial Analyst

    The position:

    • In this position, you will work closely with the executive team, business leaders across the company and markets, and directly contribute to the design and build of our growing Finance function.
    • We are rapidly developing capabilities across accounting, FP&A, treasury, corporate finance, capital budgeting, audit and tax, risk management and regulatory and investor reporting, and require capable generalists with extraordinary attention to detail and a great work ethic to push our business forward.
    • We are looking for people who have first class or second class upper ONLY.

    The Finance Analyst will:

    • Consolidate and analyze financial data from members to determine affordability for support programs (income, expenses forecasts etc)
    • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
    • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
    • Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to the executive team based on sound analysis
    • Track and determine financial status of members by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
    • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting date
    • Be based in Lagos or Abuja
    • Be required to use technology for a majority of the work

    Requirements

    • BA/BS degree in Business/Accounting/Finance with 3-7 years of accounting or finance experience
    • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines;
    • Excellent financial, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organization;
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective and healthy working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients;
    • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary;
    • Demonstrates ability to work with confidential and sensitive data.

    Technical Project Manager, Engineering

    The position:

    • We are seeking a highly talented and experienced technical project manager to oversee a wide variety of projects from conceptual design through implementation. You will have the chance to network with a plethora of audiences across technology, clinical and data as well as form a dream team of experts for each project to maximize resources and efficiency. If you are ready to steer high-level projects to success, we are excited to have you on our team.

    Responsibilities

    • Full ownership of project discovery, critical success factors, stakeholder engagement, and project execution through closure for > 3 Process Improvement projects simultaneously across the Technology Team.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
    • Organise and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings and reviews
    • Maintain process documentation
    • Assist with internal and external communication
    • Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards
    • Assist the teams with making appropriate commitments through task definition
    • Create and manage project plans in adherence with organization standards.
    • Identify gaps in business functions and business process. Review gaps with business partners to determine solution alternatives.
    • Engage stakeholders on project objectives, goals and success measures – manage expectations, escalate where needed.
    • Identify and design business solutions for the project using industry standard practices.
    • Draft diagrams representing project context, solution design and process flows. Partner with project stakeholders to determine appropriate solutions.
    • Manage project risks and issues using experienced mitigation strategies, escalate where needed.
    • Perform project oversight responsibilities for associate team resources.
    • Create and maintain project management templates for the technology teams
    • Other duties, as needed.

    Requirements

    • Degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
    • 5 years project management experience in an agile software development environment
    • Experience as a certified scrum master or agile coach role in an agile environment
    • Thorough knowledge of successful agile techniques
    • Experience using agile tools such as JIRA, Trello, User Story Map, Confluence
    • Ability to conceptualize and execute on tight timelines, and juggle competing priorities.
    • Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential
    • Be able to deal with multiple projects and deadlines
    • Proven ability to work independently without supervision
    • Must be collaborative in driving decisions
    • Excellent leadership abilities and comfort in working with a global team and in a startup environment.
    • Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve under pressure.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
