    Process Operator Degumming/Lecithin

    Job Description

    1. To run Degumming/ Lecithin Plant smoothly by maintaining the production capacity as per plan, reduce the downtime by proper maintenance planning and to produce goods that will pass local and international standards to fulfill customer requirements.
    2. Produce goods that are within the limits of the set quality standard by proper monitoring in both screen and field to correct any deviation from the agreed specifications.
    3. Maintain a smooth operation of degumming/ lecithin plant by proper adjustment of the machines and parameters in order to achieve optimum results of the desired products.
    4. Implement the daily dispatch plan and dispatch gum/Lecithin product on time to avoid any delay in delivery. 
    5. Eliminate or reduce the risk in degumming/ Lecithin area by reporting all the significant hazards, issue proper work permits for a particular job with risk assessments, giving Tool Box Talks, listing all the machines that need maintenance and proper hygiene & housekeeping.
    6. Handover the shift properly (face to face) by recalling all previous events, happenings & instructions to the reliever and discuss one by one the shift report contents to avoid lapses of information and ensure smooth shift transition.
    7. Ensure proper adjustments of the centrifuge to have gums that are suitable for Lecithin production.
    8. Adhere with local regulations and international standards to comply with   requirements.
    9. Generate daily maintenance list and follow up.
    10. Performing other duties as the shift in charge may direct to increase productivity or meet the plant requirements.

    Key Deliverables

    1. Daily Quality Reports.
    2. Lecithin Production Report.
    3. Production Plan (as per contract.
    4. Work Permit System/ Plant Hygiene and Inspection Reports/ Toolbox Talk File/ Hazards Report/ Lecithin Cleaning Report.
    5. Degumming/ Lecithin Production Report.
    6. Adhering the Health and Safety policy and procedure.
    7. Adhering with the Foods Safety policy, training and process.

    Requirements

    1. Must have ND engineering. Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Engineering an advantage.
    2. At least with 05 years’ experience in edible oil refinery, 3 years in Degumming/ Lecithin.
    3. Certificates/Trainings related to Health and Safety. IOSH/OSHA exposition an advantage.
    4. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance, planning and organizational ability.
    5. Teamwork and Cooperation.

    Logistics Manager-South

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate our company's logistics operations in South Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of RM & processed goods originating from Southern Region for IFP Procurement division.

    1. Develop and implement logistics strategies to meet company goals and objectives.
    2. Analyze logistics data to identify trends, optimize routes, and improve efficiency.
    3. Liaise & Negotiate contracts with Transporters & carriers(Formal companies as well as 3P transporters).
    4. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
    5. Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and industry standards.
    6. Supervise and train logistics staff.
    7. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Production, warehousing & respective plant teams) to ensure alignment.
    8. Monitor and control logistics costs.
    9. Implement and maintain logistics technology systems.
    10. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    11. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.

    Requirements

    1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
    2. 3-5+ years of experience in logistics management.
    3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    4. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
    5. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
    6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
