    Planning Engineer

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Ensure that HSE considerations are included in all work plans for non-routine maintenance campaigns and projects
    • Detailed planning and scheduling of non-routine maintenance projects and campaigns
    • Monitoring and tracking project progress
    • Develop and publish periodic project status report
    • Assist the project Engineer in coordination of project field activities
    • Monitor maintenance backlog for non-routine maintenance function and ensure backlog is always within acceptable limits
    • Update the integrated activity planning and scheduling (IAPS) plans for the various planning horizons within the non-routine maintenance function
    • Prepare and issue weekly integrated schedule (IS) KPI reports
    • Prepare and issue monthly IAPS short term (ST) KPI reports
    • Support the project Engineer in front end material, resources, and cost planning
    • Ensure adequate stakeholder engagement during front end project planning phase
    • Turnaround planning and scheduling of non-routine maintenance scope items
    • Ability to interface with other units (Asset) to ensure department plans are aligned to business planning.

    Basic Requirements

    • BEng. /HND in Engineering plus a minimum of 10 years' experience in oil and gas installations
    • Able to use key planning tools like Primavera and ERP systems.
    • Experience in development and production of work scope and cost estimating.
    • Extensive working knowledge of all relevant engineering standards and codes of practice relevant to work with company

    Instrument Engineer

    Job Purpose / Objective:

    • To manage Instrumentation Engineering activities during Front End and Shutdowns and to ensure Plant Availability, Reliability, Integrity and HSE objectives are achieved for the LNG production in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

    Basic functions & Principal Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all activity are effectively supervised and executed SAFELY.
    • Extract instrumentation material specification from the CMMS for procurement purposes
    • Continuously engaging the SME on technical review of spares to ensure accuracy of material specification for procurement purposes and address obsolescence.
    • Review procurement queries from the procurement specialist/OEM’s and provide requisite information according to the manufacturer’s manual and site experience.
    • Constantly engaging OEMs to follow-up on clarifications required to close out actions promptly
    • Coordinate the shut-down teams during TA’s
    • Review work packs for various execution to ensure correctness and completion as planned.
    • Develop in liaison with the Senior Shutdown Engineers and implement Instrumentation discipline shutdown plans and communicate same, with Operations and stakeholders to ensure delivery of approved premise
    • Involved in project development and execution, develop, and specify list of all materials required for delivery of instrumentation scope in non-routine maintenance activities to ensure no lapse or delays due to material unavailability.
    • Assist the Principal Shutdown Coordinator in the preparation of budget proposals as input into business plan and ensure spending on Instrumentation related activities is within approved budget to prevent over-spend.
    • Co-ordinate shutdown workflow using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure adequate capture of the instrumentation activities for Audit purpose, performance Analysis, Procedures and Work Instructionsimprovements, and System continual improvements in line with ISO 9001:2000 and Company Quality Management System (QMS).
    • Ensure all documentation are updated and job history completed accurately after the completion of every event.

    Job requirements

    Education:

    • A University Degree/Higher National Diploma in Electrical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering

    Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience.

    PCD Security Engineer

    Basic functions & Principal Responsibilities:

    • input to the review and application of safety instrumented system (SIS) design and applications.
    • Carry out routine health monitoring and maintenance activities (PR) on the plant safeguarding system and fire and gas system.
    • Support the OEM in SIS troubleshooting and carrying out corrective maintenance activities; participate in faulty hardware replacements.
    • Support the OEM in developing scope of work for SIS related activities to implement modification as part of turnaround or plant change procedure.
    • Participate in IPF protocols development and review.
    • Carry out ‘‘force’’ application SIS logic in accordance with Shell and SIS Supplier’s standards.
    • Contribute to the development of relevant procedures and work instructions for the plant Triconex PLCs; maintain SIS testing procedures and process safety management function documents As-built.
    • Support the PCD Administrator in the administration of portable medias (including laptops), and access points within the PCD.
    • Recording of activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for Audit purpose, performance Analysis, Procedures and Work Instructions improvement, and system continual improvements.

    Job requirements

    Education

    • A minimum of BSC/HND in Engineering or Sciences (Electronics/Electrical, Physics Electronics, Instrumentation, Control or Mechanical) or any other professional certification required for the job + computer literacy.

    Experience

    • A minimum of five (5) years’ post graduate experience in general field automation in the oil and gas industry with at least 2 years in similar function in an LNG plant or in a petrochemical company

    Technical/Business Skills:

    • Experienced in necessary safety critical functions as identified, assigned, and defined in the bowties to ensure that the effectiveness of the control barriers and recovery measures are maintained.
    • Working knowledge level on Field Instrumentation, Process Automation and Safety instrumented Systems.

    Interpersonal Skills:

    • Working Knowledge level on People, Management and Communication.

    Competencies:

    • HSSE Awareness and basic understanding.

    Logistics Supervisor

    Job Purpose / Objective 

    • To supervise logistics plans to support delivery of shutdowns to meet business plan in terms of plant availability and guaranteed delivery committed LNG, LPG and Condensate 

    Basic functions & Principal Responsibilities:  

    • Assist to execute all Logistics plans for all activities within management approved premise on Budgets, Durations and Quality to meet company production targets 
    • Supervise mobilization and demobilization of Service Contractors personnel and equipment and arrange accommodation, meals and transportation for the personnel in a timely manner to support efficient execution of all shutdowns 
    • Oversee and follow-up on the maintenance of company facilities (Laydown Areas, Warehouse and Materials, Tools, Vehicles) in a safe and ready to use condition to support safe and efficient execution of all shutdowns 
    • Arrange and Supervise waste management and disposal for all activities in agreement with HSEQ group to keep company compliant with ISO-14001 
    • Execute the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) scope of all shutdowns and monitor implementation of all mandatory company - HSE procedures in compliance with HSE targets 
    • Prepare reports on Materials activities and support Supervisor to compile comprehensive close-out Reports for Management information and decision making  
    • Contribute to improvement Opportunities from lessons learnt to improve performance

    Education

    Electrical Engineer

    Job Purpose / Objective:

    • The main objective of this job role is to provide engineering assurance, carry out design, interpretation of code and standards, develop work instruction and procedure with regards to electrical installation

    Basic functions & Principal Responsibilities:

    The candidate should be knowledgeable in:

    • Preparation of Conceptual designs and assurance document for electrical aspects on projects
    • Review and approve cooling load calculations, HVAC design for All-Air Systems, Hydronic Systems, Package Unit, Split System, VRF System etc.
    • Provision of technical advice/guidance/approval/specifications for electrical designs in all facilities.
    • Provision of assurance for third party and in-house designs in accordance with ASHRAE, SHELL DEPs, ATEX, NFPA, SMACNA & national regulations, standards and procedures.
    • Develop and implement long-term cost-effective strategies, including obsolescence management plans for safe and reliable operation and maintenance of electrical / HVAC Systems
    • Ensure electrical /HVAC equipment database is kept updated in line with industry best practices.
    • Provision of assurance for preventive & breakdown maintenance works on all electrical system.
    • Ensure minimal unplanned electrical interruption & long-term integrity of equipment through optimal electrical systems operations & design.
    • Ensure safety and quality standards of electrical works are maintained in compliance with our standards and best industry practice
    • Interpret and implement regulatory professional and best in class industry standards, international codes, and practices by participating in optimizing, standardization and definition of best practice & bench marking for electrical / HVAC aspects.
    • Authorize and approve all changes, modifications, alterations and new developments in the HVAC aspects of projects at various stages in liaison with the Project and Maintenance Teams to assure asset integrity through optimal electrical systems designs and achieve reduction in OPEX.
    • Make input to CAPEX and OPEX budgets for all electrical systems.
    • Conduct inspection on all electrical materials and equipment, site construction activities, testing, adjusting and balancing of electrical system to ensure they are as per applicable standards.
    • Develop and/or Review quality assurance processes, procedures, work instructions, inspection sheets required to perform day to day maintenance and investigation of reoccurring problems and resolve design flaws for improved reliability and capabilities in order to sustain the most

    Job requirements

    Education:

    • BSC, HND in relevant or related discipline or equivalent + relevant experience + computer Literacy

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years working experience in Electrical and HVAC systems.

    Technical/Business Skills:

    • The candidate should have sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Electrical and HVAC system, HVAC design, standards and safety standards. Interpersonal Skills:
    • The candidate should have very good interpersonal skill to relate with the team and other disciplines and teams such as Project, area maintenance team, ESD HVAC contractor etc. within NLNG. The person should be self-motivating, team player, have good oral and reporting skill.
