    Business Analyst (Projects & Content Development)

    A reputable professional membership organization with international affiliation is undergoing expansion.

    The organization seeks highly talented and versatile individuals to join its Secretariat.

    Reporting to the Executive Secretary, the Analyst is responsible for:

    • Create and maintain project documentation including project plans, feasibility studies, resource allocation and other relevant reports;
    • Coordinate with stakeholders, volunteers and consultants to implement projects and initiatives;
    • Assist with conducting internal meetings and streamlining the overall workflow of new and existing projects;
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, budget and schedule; and with cost savings;
    • Perform researches and data analysis and produce insights to support business recommendations;
    • Assist to prepare project and Secretariat budgets;
    • Prepare well-structured content drafts and submit work to editors for input and approval;
    • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to develop content and/or illustrate articles where required;
    • Perform ad-hoc research to develop and produce new and relevant content from time to time,
    • Draft periodic content including articles and newsletters relevant to the member community. Utilize industry and organizational knowledge to create timely and compelling content;
    • Contribute creative and strategic ideas for campaigns and other marketing initiatives;
    • Develop and administer surveys as may be required from time to time for member community, internal use or corporate clients;

    Requirements

    • A Degree in Business Management, Accounting/ Statistics, or a related field;
    • 4+ years proven work experience as a Business Analyst, Project Analyst or a similar role;
    • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery;
    • Communication skills to collaborate at all levels, working with other team members and volunteers to move projects forward;
    • Experience using documentation tool (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Project management software and diagramming tool including flowcharts;
    • Experience in content development;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, multitasking and time-management skills;
    • Knowledge of modeling techniques and methods, and experience in business case development;
    • Team player;
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Executive Secretary

    The Executive Secretary will have a track record of operational excellence and business development. He/she will

    • Report administratively to the organization's executives, ensuring fulfilment of its goals and objectives;
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the member secretariat;
    • Translate the organization's priorities and directions into standard operating procedures;
    • Identify and implement cost-effective ways to deliver state-of-the-art programs and events to members;
    • Foster and develop effective relationships with the organization's members, partners, sponsors and volunteers;
    • Cultivate corporate and individual sponsors and volunteer efforts;
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes; lead marketing campaigns and ensure development of constantly relevant content;
    • Grow membership and develop initiatives that provide value to the member community
    • Identify opportunities to increase the association's revenue generation, profitability and expansion;
    • Lead ongoing projects of the association
    • Provide periodic activity reports to the association's leadership;
    • Develop and coach team members. Ensure optimal team performance

    Requirements 

    • A Degree in Finance/ Accounting, Social Sciences, Economics, Marketing or related discipline;
    • 8 - 10 years’ work experience of which at least 4 years should be in Business Development, Account Management or Sales; with sound knowledge of Human Resource Management practices;
    • Entrepreneurial, strong business acumen and results-driven; 
    • Interpersonal and excellent presentation skills;
    • Written and verbal communication skills;
    • IT skills, including the use of MS Office tools, spreadsheets, presentation and project management tools;
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload;
    • Leadership skills and experience, budgeting, negotiating and strategic thinking;
    • Flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

    Marketing Officer

    A reputable professional membership organization with international affiliation is undergoing expansion.

    The organization seeks highly talented and versatile individuals to join its Secretariat.

    Reporting to the Executive Secretary, the Marketing Officer is responsible to

    • Develop effective marketing strategies to enhance the organization’s brand identity;
    • Conduct relevant market researches to identify business trends and members' needs;
    • Organize a calendar of marketing events (including promotions, exhibitions, workshops, and fundraising activities) consistent with the organization's goals and objectives;
    • Plan and execute marketing and advertising campaigns on a variety of media including online advertising, print ads, radio and television campaigns to boost the organization's PR;
    • Collaborate with other team members (including membership team, projects, and content development), volunteers, and outside agencies in the delivery of approved marketing plans;
    • Create promotional materials for the association's events and for adhoc use;
    • Develop, implement, and manage the organization's social media strategy. Manage and grow all social media accounts (manage posts, respond to inquiries, engage followers, etc.);
    • Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise the association's brand awareness;
    • Oversee and regularly update the association's website(s);
    • Coordinate with outside agencies (for example designers and content developers) to produce marketing materials. Write, edit and proofread marketing materials for use in different channels; subject to relevant approvals;
    • Assist with writing press releases and communicating with media representatives, subject to Executive approvals;

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, English or related field degree;
    • 3+ years of previous experience in marketing and PR, with strong social media skills;
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
    • Proficient using Microsoft Suite and other marketing tools (Dynamics, Excel, CRM, etc.);
    • Team player;
    • Strong critical thinking, creative and problem-solving skills;
    • Copywriting and graphic/ digital design experience are added advantage;
    • Must be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. Must be able to express the organization's views creatively
