    Electrical Engineer

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing electrical and instrumentation system designs, directing contractors and subcontractors, and managing changes to electrical designs. This role requires a strong background in analyzing electrical and instrumentation drawings, developing cost estimates, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review Electrical and Instrumentation System Designs: Thoroughly review and evaluate all electrical and instrumentation system designs to ensure they meet project requirements and industry standards.
    • Direct Contractors and Subcontractors: Provide clear instructions and oversight to electrical contractors and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to specifications and within project timelines.
    • Resolve Electrical and Instrumentation Issues: Address and resolve any issues related to electrical and instrumentation systems, and manage changes to electrical designs as necessary.
    • Analyze Drawings and Develop Cost Estimates: Analyze electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications, and develop accurate cost estimates for project budgeting and planning.
    • Collaborate with Subcontractors: Work closely with subcontractors to ensure electrical work is coordinated effectively with other project elements and progresses smoothly.
    • Ensure Code Compliance and Safety: Inspect and verify contractors' work to ensure adherence to local and national electrical codes, safe operation of devices, and accurate power delivery.
    • Coordinate Project Completion: Oversee the completion of all electrical system aspects of projects, ensuring all work is completed to satisfaction and on schedule.
    • Develop As-Built Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed as-built documentation for all electrical systems, reflecting any changes made during the project.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation system design and project management.
    • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
    • Proficiency in analyzing technical drawings and specifications.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Civil Engineer

    Job Overview:

    • Overseeing a Construction Site
    • Prepare necessary resources, manage the workers, avoid discrepancies in the budget, and execute the vision of the project accurately.
    • Prepare and implement health and safety plan for site workers.

    Chief Risk Officer

    JOB OBJECTIVES

    • Provide central oversight of risk management
    • Develop, maintain, manage and execute a comprehensive process for identifying, assessing, mitigating, monitoring and reporting on risks that may impact on organizational performance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide central oversight of risk management while also accommodating individual risk process needs.
    • Development and Continuous evaluation of the ERM Framework to ensure all risks are identified and adequately mitigated.
    • Assist the Board Audit Committee in the formulation of policies and development of better controls
    • Acting as an adviser to the organization to enable all strategic, management and operational tasks of the organization to be aligned to a common set of risk management objectives
    • Preparing regular reports on the effectiveness of the risk environment for the Management and Board of Directors as may be required from time to time
    • Present insights into the business’s emerging risk profile and its impact on business objectives based on market dynamics
    • Provide board and management with risk impact estimations and business rationale
    • Ensure loan book is of good quality - NPL is not higher than 3% and continuous strategy formulation to ensure good quality loan book
    • Build a framework to manage and evaluate the risks around mission-critical processes/procedures especially risk assets.
    • Evaluate organizational processes and procedures aimed at mitigating risks and improving organizational efficiency.
    • Strengthen visibility into the dependencies between risk exposure, execution of strategic initiatives, and achievement of business objectives
    • Create a culture of risk awareness within the organisation
    • Stress Test and Portfolio report to Board & Management.
    • Provide overall direction and leadership

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • B.SC, M.Sc
    • Professional certification in Accounting / Risk management
    • 6-10 years experience in similar role in the financial services sector
    • Knowledge of Corporate Governance and Accountability
    • MFI industry experience will be an added advantage

    Job Overview:

    • Process accounts payable and receivable, depending on role
    • Utilize database software to organize financial account information
    • Handle account inquiries from internal and external sources

    • This role involves continuous site inspections, assessment and approval of safety plans, emergency response planning, and promoting a culture of safety.
    • The Safety Officer will also manage all communications with government regulators regarding safety issues and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
