    FX Trader

    Multigate is looking for an individual with strong communication, attention to detail, strong strategic thinking, and planning skills to join the Revenue Division. The individual will be responsible for executing trades accurately and efficiently, utilizing their strong mathematical aptitude to analyze market trends, evaluate risks, make informed trading decisions and manage client relationships.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Trade efficiently with the available FX suppliers and clients in order to maximize margins for Multigate while ensuring a positive client experience.
    • Ensure that all available trades are efficiently closed out within the agreed trade period
    • Manage and develop relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to foster long-term business growth and opportunities.
    • Proactively conduct enhanced research to propose new revenue opportunities to the management team to embark upon
    • Liaise with the other departments to ensure that the Company is well-positioned to take advantage of potential trading opportunities in other available markets
    • Be flexible to take up new additional responsibilities as directed by your Line Manager and Management team.
    • Proactively seek out progressive measures to enhance trade activities
    • Responsible for incessantly conducting investment research and market analysis to advise the management team on potential opportunities and challenges
    • Liaise with the other departments to onboard the Company on profitable trading platforms in order to position the Company for the upside of available trades across African currencies and G3 currencies

    FX Platform Sales

The role involves a 360-degree approach, encompassing research, prospecting, client acquisition, onboarding, and account management.     The FX Platform Sales Executive will be responsible for playing a crucial role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding our client base. In this non-people management role, you will focus on FX sales, account management, and client relationship development. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong client relationships, and providing expert advice on our proprietary FX platform where client transactions are executed 

    Duties/Responsibilities 

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within various sectors for money movement and foreign exchange solutions. 
    • Drive new corporate business through direct sales, following a 'hunter' approach under the guidance of the head of platform sales. 
    • Prospect, present, and close deals while managing the entire sales cycle, ensuring compliance and customer onboarding. 
    • Collaborate with research and trading teams to enhance the client experience. 
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends. 
    • Develop a strategic approach for identifying and prospecting new clients.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and networking abilities. 
    • Excellent client acquisition skills as well as experience building relationships with people of varying levels of seniority in the banking and non-banking financial services industry. 
    • Proficient in relevant software and tools for tracking and reporting. 
    • IT literate; proficient in CRMs, a Google Workspace.
    • Ambitious, self-motivated, confident with high integrity and tenacity to bring value to a tight knit team.
    • High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years level of experience
    • Demonstrated B2B FX trading & payment solutions experience with proven track record in FX sales, account management, or a related financial sales role. 
    • Demonstrable experience of working towards targets in a fast paced environment. 
    • Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, and especially the Foreign Exchange market with a focus on Africa is required. 
    • Candidates must have a deep understanding of consultative sales principles, be adept at executive corporate level negotiations, and building long-term client relationships. 
    • Knowledge of business needs and concerns and must be able to demonstrate success in new business sales in a dynamic environment consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
