    Senior Procurement Specialist

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
    • Manage the entire procurement process, from item sourcing, and vendor selection to contract negotiation and project management.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Analyse market trends and risks to make informed purchasing decisions.

    Requirements

    • 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, vendor management and tender management
    • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
    • ⁠Experience in the oil and gas or energy sector is required.
    • Good knowledge of tender management on NIPEX and ARIBA portals
    • Proven experience in managing large-scale procurement projects.
