    Technical Assistant to the Group Managing Director

    Overview

    • The Technical Assistant to the Group Managing Director will provide support to the GMD/CEO on strategic and technical matters, support internal execution of transactions and provide timely execution of high quality secretarial and administrative support.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the execution of strategic projects in the GMD’s Office.
    • Led the internal execution of financial advisory transactions and due diligence.
    • In-depth industry, market, and company-specific research for the evaluation of new business opportunities.
    • Contribute to the structuring of new opportunities and transactions.
    • Prepare pro forma financial analysis and develop financial models for the company’s projects including portfolio companies, where applicable,
    • Perform asset management duties including reporting, budget tracking, compliance, and project oversight.
    • Prepare presentations, investment memorandums and other transaction and business documents.
    • Assist the Managing Director with daily administrative duties and complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments, basic bookkeeping task, composing and preparing correspondence, arranging complex and detailed travel plans and compile documents for meetings.
    • Filing and retrieving of corporate records, documents and reports.
    • Maintain confidential files and contact information, coordinate meetings, conferences, and committees both on and off site to support the Managing Director’s plans.
    • Prepare meeting agendas, perform research for meetings, and take minutes during meetings.
    • Relationship Management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following discipline (Economics, Accounting or Finance related course).
    • 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar position preferably in the Investment industry, supporting upper-level management
    • M.Sc or MBA in finance will be an added advantage.
    • Professional qualifications such as CIS, ICAN, ACCA, CFA, etc., will be an added advantage
    • Knowledge of business management and financial advisory principles
    • Good understanding of financial modelling and valuation.
    • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
    • High Proficiency in Microsoft tools.

    Treasury Officer

    Overview

    • The Treasury Officer will be responsible for supporting the institution with cash management, collateral management, funding and liquidity, investment analysis and other financial affairs.
    • In addition, he/she will manages and execute treasury functions including relationship management, cash management, cash and treasury operations, supervise borrowing and investing and assist in meeting overall treasury department’s policies and regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain stewardship for financial assets and debt including overall leadership of the cash management, debt management and investment management functions of the organization and its affiliated entities.
    • Ensures the maintenance of corporate liquidity.
    • Develop and manage strategies, operations, and policies around treasury activities.
    • Handle all incoming and outgoing banking transactions on behalf of the company
    • seek to maintain a positive professional relationship with partner financial intuitions
    • Make informed decisions on behalf of the company involving investments

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following discipline (Economics, Accounting or Finance related course).
    • 5 -8 years’ experience in a similar position preferably in the Investment industry
    • M.Sc or MBA in finance will be an added advantage.
    • Professional qualifications such as CIS, ICAN, ACCA, CFA, etc., will be an added advantage
    • Experience in treasury or in a relevant financial management position, fixed income trading experience is an advantage
    • Knowledge of monetary markets, business investment management and financing strategies
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills, include presentation skills
    • Good leadership and decision-making abilities in a business setting.

    Human Resources Officer

    Overview

    • The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of compensation and performance management, employee relations as well as employee engagement, recruitment and development.
    • In addition, the Human Resources officer will assist in driving the company’s culture, managing employee’s welfare and developing initiatives for optimal employee engagement and overall experience.

    Responsibities

    • Design, implement and monitor Performance Management; manage the performance cycle to ensure cross-Complex alignment and intra-Complex cascading of business goals and Key Performance Indicators across the organization.
    • Work in liaison with key stakeholders e.g. Business Unit Heads to establish and support the link between strategic business objectives and employee’s day-to-day actions and tasks by implementing a process for tracking progression from goal setting, mid-year reviews and end of year evaluations to support individual, team and organizational performance.
    • Design and manage the organization’s competency framework in coordination with the various stakeholders in line with the organization’s strategic direction and functional objectives.
    • Manage the performance review process, coordinate post-appraisals meetings & ensure implementation of outcomes.
    • Track companywide employee performance data and deploy initiatives based on insight.
    • Participate in payroll and benefits processing, ensuring that transactions are delivered to deadline and in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures
    • Participate in external competitor compensation research, improvement in compensation and benefits related policies and procedures
    • Implement programs and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement
    • Manage the administrative elements of both new hire and leaver processes from induction, probation and exit.
    • Efficiently manage and administer HR processes throughout the employee life-cycle in a seamless manner
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment of the organisation
    • Support talent development initiatives
    • Develop and execute regular pulse check surveys to gauge employee engagement and morale as well as to understand effectiveness of engagement and change management activities.

    Requirements

    Content Writer (Onsite)

    Overview

    • The content writer will be responsible for writing compelling marketing and promotional materials for a wide variety of Norrenberger’s products and services.

    Responsibilities

    • Write, edit, and approve copy for social media, print media, website, video scripts, blog articles, adverts, emails, sales collateral, etc.
    • Edit and proofread work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs.
    • Collaborate with the creative, product, marketing, and legal teams to assess project requirements and provide messaging assistance.
    • Stay current on trends within the editorial sphere.
    • Create compelling, conversion-focused marketing copy that clearly explains what products and services are and how they solve the problems of the target audience.
    • Interview internal subject matter experts and product managers and turn technical concepts into understandable messaging that drives product branding.
    • Stay up to date with the trends in communication technology and customer challenges to build more effective content and messaging.
    • Must be conversant with basic SEO tools like SEMRUSH, Google Keyword Planner, etc., and be able to conduct keyword research.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field.
    • 2 - 4 years post NYSC work experience in related field
    • Creative Analysis / Judgment
    • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
    • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually.
