    Procurement Officer

    Job Description

    • Keep abreast of changing industry trends.
    • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
    • Use existing software effectively to post invoices, update items and costs.
    • Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
    • Liaise with vendors/suppliers on behalf of the restaurant and compare proposals for price and specifications.
    • Secure products and services at the best possible pricing without compromising on quality or service.
    • Review, negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service and product provided and communicate with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion.
    • Ensure the companies purchasing systems are up to date with products and pricing to facilitate its smooth operation at restaurant level.
    • Ensure all product ordered is received, accounted, and processed, both physically and on internal systems to ensure the best due process.
    • Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels; incorporating the growing complexities and challenges within industry.
    • Assist the kitchen staff to optimize the cost of raw materials and controllable by researching products and collaborating with internal and external teams to source best products and follow best practices.
    • Manage all month end procedures including but not limited to transfers, requisitions, receiving, invoicing/reconciliation, accruals and inventory.
    • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports; which cover but not limited to the statistics on spending and saving.

    Restaurant Manager

    Job description

    • Organizing schedules and producing shift rotas
    • Working with the HR department to implement Staff incentive
    • Ensuring reports are sent to appropriate channels as at when due.
    • Develop plans and tactics to achieve and exceed daily sales targets
    • Provide individuals with development training to maximize their skills
    • Ensure front counter procedures are being used consistently by all staff
    • Seek and suggest ways to reduce waste and operational costs of the restaurant
    • Ensure orderliness among staff and ensuring all staff are executing their duties on time and that all Staff including new ones are in compliance with company policies
    • Monitor Inventory to ensure that food supplies and restaurant essentials are adequate
    • Develop and implement methods of improving customer satisfaction through excellent service
    • Oversee the general activities of the restaurant during your shift and proper handover to the next shift.
    • Manage absence and disciplinary issues, and escalate to the Human Resources department.
    • Resolve customer’s complaints professionally and review customer’s surveys
    • Maintaining food quality standards by ensuring products delivered from the production floor are in line with the company's standard
    • Oversee food production, storage and presentation to ensure compliance with food, hygiene, health and safety regulations/guidelines.
    • Training staff to follow restaurant procedures, and champion learning and development training to improve team productivity and maximize their skills
    • Keep abreast of local competition and develop plans to retain customers by managing the implementation of local sales-building programs through constant promotion and marketing.

    Cashiers

    Job description

    • Welcoming and attending to customers, providing recommendations where necessary.
    • Operating cash registers, scales and operating scanners
    • Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate, and providing receipts to every customer
    • Maintaining a clean workspace.
    • Ensuring that menus display the correct pricing
    • Operating cash machines and POS to calculate customers' bills
    • Keeping track of inventory and ensuring supplies are ordered on time
    • Ensure there is sufficient change available at the beginning of each day
    • Count the cash in the register at the end of the shift and ensure it tallies.

    Requirements

    • Candidates must have an OND qualification OR SSCE minimum
    • A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a fast food restaurant is an added advantage.
    • Excellent mathematical and multitasking abilities.
    • Basic knowledge of computers, calculators, and other machines required for transactions.
    • Outstanding customer relations skills and the ability to ensure a customer-priority culture
    • Ability to work with flexibility on a shift basis.
