    Sales Lead - Artificial Lift Systems, West Africa

    Partner with the best:

    • As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives.
    • Contributes to sales plan in a specific region. Defines sales strategy for targeted clients.

    Responsibilities
    You will be responsible for:

    • Handling standardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice.
    • Handling Sales force effectiveness, productivity analysis, allocation of resources and territory coverage, sales incentives, Salesforce CRM platform and tools, lead for commercial planning and forecasting, Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes, ITO lead for business reviews.
    • Cleaning and maintaining data in commercial and other core systems (CRMs, SFDC, ERPs, etc.)
    • Cooperating with (technical) sales support to realize sales.
    • Handling diverse clients in a region
    • Contributing to prices and conditions to have a certain degree of granularity.
    • Leading the department with medium-sized estimated orders.
    • Leading the team for commercial planning and forecasting
    • Being responsible for revenue billing and collection within the contract scope.
    • Handling new business units within Sub Saharan Africa
    • Managing dedicated customer in technical, economical, logistical and financial aspects when creating a proposal.
    • Being responsible for revenue billing and collection within the contract scope.
    • Being responsible of inventory projection vs consumption to aligned with the revenue projection

    Responsibilities
    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
    • Have at least 5 years of technical experience in Artificial Lift System
    • Have experience in Sales in the oil & gas industry
    • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
    • Show comprehensive understanding of customer’s requirements & challenges.
    • Display excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Have ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. ‘Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
    • Have the ability to transfer with the West African region.

    Technical Support Engineer - Production Enhancement

    • The Technical support Engineer ensures Baker Hughes deliver flawless execution by providing Technical Support to the Service Delivery organization and Sales organization when needed in pre-planning, job execution, and post job analysis. 

    Responsibilities
    As a Technical Support Engineer – Production Enhancement, you will be responsible for:

    • Sharing the knowledge across the organization by submitting best practices, case histories, lessons learned to the knowledge management database.
    • Supporting the field technically through different media (online, phone calls and technical papers).
    • Supporting for 24/7 on Critical Operation in the field when needed.
    • Following up on field failures that requires Technology involvement and ensure that the learning is shared across the field.
    • Subject Matter Expert for his / her area of support.
    • Raising alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar technical issue arises on a job.
    • Communicating to Engineering and Technology organization on issues and lessons learned related to different technologies.

    Requirements
    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Bachelor's Degree in any related Engineering field.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience as a technical support Engineer.
    • Highly initiative, self-driven, strong analytical and conceptual skills, flexibility.
    • Have a thorough understanding of P/L technology and Service Delivery requirements.
    • Have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Have the ability to develop and mentor small technical teams.
    • Have thorough understanding of P/L technology & service delivery requirements
    • Be able to work in a 24/7 service environment, based on an agreed shift schedule. 
    • Have good communication skills both verbal and written in English.
