    Business Development Associate

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Expert to join our team.
    • This role is crucial in driving growth and expanding our network of partners, clients, and stakeholders.
    • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Agribusiness, renewable energy, management landscape and a proven track record in business development, particularly in technology and innovation sectors.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes and analyze market data to develop insights and strategies for business growth.
    • Develop and implement business development strategies to meet organizational goal and Identify new markets and customer needs, and develop tailored strategies to address them.
    • Identify and build relationships with potential partners, clients, and stakeholders. Also, negotiate and close partnership agreements that align with our strategic objectives.
    • Represent Cedro Royal at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
    • Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals by developing proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
    • Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the financial growth of the company.
    • Manage business development projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery and coordinate with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall organizational goals.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development whilst providing regular updates to senior management on business development activities and progress.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in an innovation or technology-focused environment.
    • Strong understanding of the Agribusiness, clean energy and service sectors.
    • Proven ability to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
    • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • The ideal candidate must be based in Abuja or its environs.
