Responsibilities

• Monitor and forecast marketing and buying trends in agricultural/ aliied materials
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and srategies
• Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data such s surveys, questionaires and opinion pools
• Gather data about customers, competitors and market condition
• Analyse data to draw both qualitative and quantitative conclusions
• Deternining potential markets, products demand and pricing
• Analysing consumer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits
• Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs and written reports
• Prepare reports and present results to Management and Clients
• Performing field work in the form of missions in carrying out research and presenting reports
• Performing other related duties as may be assigned by HOD

Responsibilities 

• Acquiring goods, services and works from suppliers (external sources) at the best possible prices in good quality and quantity (Agric products)
• Providing assistance and reporting to the procurement manager in the day-to-day procurement of goods and services
• Providing technical support to the procurement manager (price collation, bulding suppliers' data base, recording and reporting)
• Managing quality and cost control
• Comparing prices of suppliers (external sources) and staying up-to-date with current market prices of goods (market analysis)
• Scrutinizing eligible suppliers to meet company's demands which are mainly accurate quantity, good delivery time, superior quality etc
• Reviewing records of purchased goods
• Performing other related duties as may be assigned by HOD.

Requirements

• Understanding and speaking of more than one language (Hausa) would be an advantage
• Knowledge of terrain to source agric products.
• Bachelor's Degree /  OND with 3 - 4 years experience.
