    Lead ISO Compliance

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Responsible for the continuous monitoring and management of the organizations' ISO standards, your primary role is to oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards within the organization. You will ensure that the organization complies with relevant ISO standards, drives continuous improvement, and achieves certification where applicable.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Achieve and maintain ISO certifications relevant to the organization's industry and needs.
    • Measure and maintain a high level of ISO compliance, ensuring minimal non-conformities during internal and external audits.
    • Ensure that all documentation related to ISO standards is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs by tracking employee understanding of ISO standards and their ability to apply them in their roles.
    • Monitor the results of internal and external audits, track non-conformities, and ensure timely and effective corrective actions.
    • Obtain and maintain ISO certification(s) as required for the organization.
    • Ensure that all ISO-related documentation is current, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for ISO standard implementation, including clear milestones and deadlines.
    • Regularly provide reports on risk assessments and proposed mitigation strategies to senior management.
    • Develop and deliver training materials, presentations, and workshops to educate employees about ISO standards.
    • Distribute audit reports detailing findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions and follow up with action owners for timely close out.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance ISO compliance.
    • Regularly report on KPIs and compliance status to senior management and recommend improvements where necessary.
       

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree (2-1) in a relevant field (Business, Quality Management, Engineering,Law, Business, Finance).
    • 5-7 years of experience in leadership or management roles, with a focus on quality management, compliance, legal, auditing, or related roles.
    • Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
    • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality management principles, and auditing techniques
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and their implementation.
    • Auditing experience and certification (e.g., Lead Auditor.)
    • Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations and laws.
    • Experience with risk management, auditing, and compliance monitoring.
    • Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Certifications like:
      • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
      • ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
      • CQA (Certified Quality Auditor)
      • CCO (Certified Compliance Officer)

    Senior Highway Surveyor

    The Senior Highway Surveyor, as a key member of the shared services team, will provide essential support to the construction supervision team, specifically in the areas of surveying works and quantity measurement. As the leader of the Highway Surveyors team, this role will oversee and coordinate the activities of their team members across various disciplines, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of surveying and measurement services for the project.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support the Project Director to develop innovative, cost-effective, and optimized solutions for the highway project.
    • Ensuring the maintenance of accurate profiles, gradients, and levels throughout the project duration.
    • Designing and implementing an ecosystem that enhances the project's overall performance and sustainability.
    • Utilize the latest surveying equipment and software, including GPS, Theodolite, and leveling instruments.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in the latest surveying software such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant applications.
    • Direct the initial baseline and control surveys including establishment of benchmarks and recovery of any existing survey monuments to be removed at the start of the project.
    • Supervise and direct the field survey parties to comply with the Contractor’s request for surveys, including the checking of the Contractor’s setting out of center lines, structures, slope stakes, etc.

    • Establish the format and standard procedures for the calculation and documentation of quantities.
    • Verify field measurement surveys, including original and final cross-sections.

    JOB REQUIREMENT:

    • B.Sc holder with a minimum of 15 years of demonstrable experience in all aspects of civil and construction supervision on major/prime roads, highways, and general infrastructure projects and at least 10 years of work experience on large highway infrastructure projects.
    • Professional qualification is an added advantage.
    • Ability to utilize computer technology for accessing data, maintaining records, generating reports, etc.
    • Proficient in any project-specific engineering and construction-relevant software.
    • Excellent technical writing skills, as well as strong oral and written communication abilities.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office suites and relevant software.
    • Strong Managerial skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of relevant local and international best practices/standards.
